So is this a good nightly cleansing routine?

Cleanse face which frankly i never do (generally with facial wipes but sometime a Clarins cleanser/toner).
Use an oil to massage into face.
Hot cloth to wipe/exfoliate away and then add night cream?

I've never had a routine in the evenings but figured it was time to start!
I'm using a REN night cream but when that runs out will buy Dermalogica.

Any thoughts as to this being a good, bad or is there a better way?
TIA for any tips..

I don't cleanse before I use oil, I really don't think it's necessary - the oil removes all your make up etc, assuming you take the time to massage it in (and if you're not going to massage it in, prob not worth bothering with). I also splash with cold water after hot cloth bit to close pores and refresh my skin.

If I get a chance early in the evening (i.e. as soon as the DCs are down) I sometimes cleanse then, as it's best to massage for a couple of minutes, and quite often I just can't be bothered right before bed!

I removed eye make up (Aveda eye make up remover is lovely)

Then cleanse with just warm water and and a muslin (I use the oil cleansing method maybe once a week, if my skin is feeling in need of a good clean, but otherwise just warm water).

Then facial massage with Neals Yard rose facial oil

I went through a phase of fussing about with Eve Lom / Clarins etc, but eventually my skin got really dry, so now its just warm water and oil and my skin has never been better.
