Has anyone used this and is it any good?

Got a good write up in UW vogue and am tempted because I am susceptible Wink

I used to use the other Idealist thing - skin refinishing I think?? And I really liked it a lot. I asked DH to buy me some of this in duty free and the stupid woman behind the counter sold him the eye version instead. By a stroke of happy fate, I do love it Grin. I was looking at the even skintone illuminator again today but something bizarre happened and I felt guilty about buying yet more stuff for myself...

I was planning on going back tomorrow to get it Wink

Yes and I love it! It has really improved the tone of my skin and evened it out. Also helped with dry patches. Much better (for me) than Lancome Genefique or EL Advanced Night Repair. I am just about to buy my third bottle!

VivaLaSativa · 22/01/2012 23:52

I use this product religiously. It's a fab product but it does nothing for skin on it's own. Makes make up last all day, smells quite strange though, like sherbert lemons.

MrsCampbellBlack · 23/01/2012 06:19

Oh that sounds good - I never got with the night repair but this sounds different/better.

I use it, it is brilliant, it really helped tone down the redness in my cheeks from my rosacea. I would recommend it.

Same as MonaLotte, used to tone down redness and found it much better than the Clinique one.

Just to check - this is idealist illuminator ? I've just finished a bottle of idealist pore minimiser which was very unimpressive - it's possible I just bought the wrong thing.....

MonaLotte · 27/01/2012 13:51

No the pore minimiser is totally different. I had a sample of it and it was very greasy.

didireallysaythat · 27/01/2012 14:04

That's reassuring. I thought everyone else was crazy to rave over it.... I'll lather myself in the real stuff next time I pass a EL counter... Thanks..
