Hunter wellies

Has anyone had issues with Hunter wellies going patchy? Mine are less than a month old (from House of Fraser), but I have lost the receipt. Any ideas?

My red ones (from Tkmaxx) have done this - but now they're a lovely dull pink colour, which I like!

But I don't really think they should do this so I would expect to be able to get my money back if I wasn't happy.
