Tbh I hardly go in any of them.
Next - I sometimes look at their house stuff, as we have some v good sofas from them, but never, ever, ever look at the clothes.
Karen Millen - expensive and 'waggy'
Fat Face - not even sure if there is one in Birmingham but I wouldn't go there - toddler clothes in adult sizes
White Stuff - weird things
Mango - I liked this years and years ago but don't now and it all feels v cheap but isn't
Topshop - only go in if the dds drag me there - HATE it. Really expensive, appalling quality and even lovely slim little dd2 can never find anything in there that fits/looks nice
New Look - everybody in there seems to weigh at least 3 times more than I do and is orange
Wallis - explosion in a polyester factory
BHS - am amazed that they are still open tbh
Zara - hate this shop. Looks like a jumble sale and the sizing is insane.
Dorothy Perkins - only go in to buy socks for the dds
Monsoon - only get tights there; the clothes all bury me
I now realise why I can never find anything to wear!
Do go in -
The White Company
Warehouse (v occasionally for t-shirts or silk things, more so for bracelets)
H&M - for cheapo cotton jackets and for scarves
M&S Autograph or for knickers (not bras) and Autograph tights
Hobbs - for t-shirts and for jackets/coats/tights etc in the sales
Oasis - for jeans and accessories. Most of the clothes are polyester or acryllic though, which I won't buy
Linea at HOF - v occasionally but most of it is too long for me
Gap - for jeans, socks, tights -everything else is really bad quality now
Vivienne Westwood sales in Selfridges
V occasional skirts/knitwear in French Connection
