Does anyone know what sort of reductions you can expect at the AH outlet please? Am saving for a new bag and am very taken with the maxi zip satchel but even at sale price of £525 I fear it's too £££ for me Sad .

Is it worth stalking the outlet for something or am I going to have to leave it and look at other brands?

Also does anyone own and use it IRL? Any feedback?

Thank you lovely S&B mumsnetters Smile

My sister has the loveliest AH bag - she got it in an outlet ( Ireland) but it was still v expensive - the quality is lovely and it's an aubergiene colour there's stripes of leather in it - it s lovely Envy Wink ( sigh) if you can afford one it would be a real treat- she has it about a year now uses it a lot but really minds it carefully and it looks as new .

Thanks - I rang the shop at Biscester and they had one but nit the right colour so not worth a trip yet .... Anyone else had an AH bag? How do they wear? Will it Mark in the rain etc? If I am going to get one it will need to look good for a while as it will have to last Grin

Bicester had the zip satchel in battered navy and battered black for £375 very recently.

I have a couple of AH bags in the battered leather and they've worn well.

Which colour are you after? If you buy on my-wardrobe.com then you accrue loyalty points and they often send you a discount voucher if you're registered with them.

I love that bag by the way and have the smaller version in smooth black.

Thanks mrscampbellblack it was the navy battered leather at that price they had yesterday - I was really taken with the orange tho. I have recently had my colours done (like lots on MN Grin ) and am a blue spring so trying to keep things "light and bright". I also just liked it!

I can do £375 but over £500 is a no for me on price. How tough are you on bags do you think? I walk everywhere as live in town and sometimes get caught in the rain. I don't always have enough room in the buggy to stash a bag - would it mark do you think? I do have some Of the Colonil waterstop spray.

Meant to say the orange was a smooth leather and yes I have bought on my-wardrobe Grin

Well although I do prefer the look of the smooth leather I think the battered leather does wear a lot better. Am not sure how well orange smooth leather would wear and it it got grubby - may be tricksy to clean.

I did see some AH bags on another website and they were doing some money off first purchase - hang on will try and find.

MrsCampbellBlack · 22/01/2012 10:32

here 10% off first order but not the colour you want.

Thanks for the link and yes I take tour point about wear and marks etc. Have had mulberry darwin oak bags before and they do look good a bit battered so have not worried before. But I am not taken with any of their designa at the moment, the maxi zip is lovely and light, flexible with shoulder and cross body straps. Ultimately it reminds me a but of the Tom Ford zip satchel which is completely gorgeous!
