second opinion needed on these 2 dresses please

really fancy a tweed dress, dress 1 or dress 2??

Jesus wept I have never been young enough or had nice enough legs for either of those. Dress two I like more but Dress one is a staple wardrobe item and will do you for years.

Dress 1 for me

yes, my only concern about dress 1 is the length, am only 5ft 2 but it'll still sit quite short!

dress 1. More elegant. Dress 2 is actually not that flattering even on the model, and I don't like the very visible zip.

Not keen on either to be honest. Dress 2 is not at all to my taste, dress 1 looks a bit cheap and nasty (nice enough style, not a good colour, and if the stylist leaves it looking unironed and lumpy, you might struggle unless you have access to a steamer).

Mmmmm, not sure about the colour of dress 1 - think I would wear it with a long sleeved top/polo neck underneath? Think I saw nice tweed dresses in warehouse?

I like dress 1 best. It also has a higher wool content so the fabric is better. It will keep you warmer than dress 2. I'm not sure about the style of dress 2.

You have the option of wearing a long sleeved top underneath, which is good too.

I think 1 is a bit shapeless and two doesn't sit right.
