Interview dress

Thought I'd got it all sorted but now having doubts. Can one wear a patterned dress for an interview? Plain is not my style, and er, haven't got any! It's an admin job in a school. Would wear with plain black opaques and black accessories. Not sure if I look more like I'm going out for the evening, but it have 3/4 sleeves and a modest neckline. Also, my only proper jacket is waaayyyy too big, so I think I look better without it. Is that OK? It's tomorrow so no time to shop. Thanks.

If its for a school job then yes. Have you got a black cardigan to 'soften' it up a bit or a scarf. Go for the smart/casual approach - too much boob or leg on show for a school job is a definite no no.

Good luck

that would be "it has 3/4 sleeves", oh dear....
Yes, it's almost to the neck and is on the knee. Can't decide if the cardigan just looks too casual and is worse than dress on it's own.
Thanks!
