Just wondering if anyone can recommend a product suitable for microdermabrasion at home? I think l'Oreal had one but it doesn't seem to be on the shelves any more..

Hi, i have an Olay one I bought last year in Superdrug. It is in two parts - an exfoliating scrub (very fine particles) whuch you use as normal, and a bottle of gel which you massage in to your face on top of the exfoliator. It seems to dissolve the scrub particles. Then you rinse to remove the whole lot.
It's quite gentle but very effective.

SERIOUSLY try bicarb of soda before you do anything else. i read it on here and thought Hmm but tbh it felt just the same as the first stage of the keihl's microdermabrasion kit i had. (plus i noticed their dissolving gel mentions sodium bicarb being the powder). okay, so you wash it off rather than melting but hey ho.

So what's the method? Mix with water? How much of each?
