I'm thinking about trying the mn haircut but wanted some tips first.
My hair was layered the last time it was cut (about 7 months ago) so if I put it up on top of my head the shortest bits are only just in the ponytail and so wouldn't get cut. I read on some old threads that it doesn't work with layered hair but surely as the haircut gives you layers it must do otherwise you wouldn't be able to do it more than once.
So to get all of it cut I'll have to put it in 2 ponytails. I've got a side parting so I'll put the sides of my hair up and on the parting. Do I then put the rest in the middle of my head at the back? Or at the side too?
Also does the front/side ponytail have to be right at the front if my head or back a bit if I don't want a fringe?
Presumably if I cut the same length off both ponytails it'll come out the same length all the way round?
And finally, is it as good as everyone says?
