New boots - opinions please...

I was planning to get Fly London Mes or Mols in the sale but when I saw them in the flesh I hated them.

Sooooo...

What do we think of these? www.next.co.uk/x492386s7 I tried them on today, they look 'shorter' on my feet than they do in the picture as I'm only a size 4, so less clown like. Also I have stupidly small calves and these are nice and slim, being 'mid' height also helps.

I really like them but I know there's a biker boot backlash going on. Can I still get away with them?

I love Destroy boots - seem quite hard to come across many styles online, but how about these?

I like the style, but the reviews would suggest that they're going to be huge on me. Really need a close-fitting zip-up style.
