My DD in in class R and has already worn a hole in the leather in her clarks school shoes. I know there is loads of threads on this but wanted to know if anyone knows where to get school shoes or black kids shoes with the rubber bit on the toe? Before she started school all the clarks kind of shoes (different colours) used to have the rubber toe protector bit on them. Do they not do this for school shoes? or do they make soooo much dosh out of us not putting it on so we have to buy school shoes every term!!! HELP !

I started buying Geox shoes for DS a few terms ago, as I was having the same problem. I must say that they have turned out to be 100 times better than Clarks. Now I only buy new shoes when his feet grow. They are expensive (about £50) but at least they last, so in the end they work out cheaper
