Does anyone know whether Fly London shoes are generously cut?

I'd like to buy one of their size 8's online, but I'm an 8.5.

I'm a 7.5 and the 8 here too big so I'd order the 8 ....

I take a 41 in shoes and can't squeeze my feet into their 41 equivalent :(

Though it's a few years since I tried any on so they may have changed.

Oh, bummer! Why are the best shoes always for small-footed folks?

I am an 8 and I tried on a pair and they were tiny.

Anyone know about Hush Puppies, sizing-wise?

Now Hush Puppies are true to size/ maybe slightly on the large size and I can fit my feet in them!

Hurray! There is hope! Hush Puppies have an identical shoe to fly which is actually funkier, I must say. And cheaper. So I shall go for those and shall delete the many, many fly shoes from my ebay profile.

fly london are small in fit, and narrow. they are built for dainty european feet.

Their 41 is definitely not an 8, I ordered a pair last week and when it arrived the box label says its a size 7. So the retailer was selling the 41 as an 8, but as far as Fly are concerned, it's a 7. I'm pretty sure an 8 always used to be a 42 in the past.

An 8 used to be a 41 back several decades ago. Nowadays most shops have changed it to 42, but I don't know why.

The Hushies I bought were on Amazon - they're called Kalista and they're a shoeboot.

OP - buy the boots in both sizes and send back the pair that doesn't fit ... most places offer free online returns these days. (I think you can get Fly boots on the Office website?)

Oh MrsMc, I long for the time to do that sort of frivolous admin! I am under so much pressure that I'd end up forgetting about the unwanted pair till it was too late, and be landed with an expensive, unusable purchase!
