Everybody raves about Chanel's Vitalumiere - but it's coverage is so-so, staying power is no good (6 hours tops on my dry skin), and it caused breakouts. Chanel's Perfection Lumiere is also disappointing. But then I tried their formulation for aging ladies (I'm 38... the SA thought I was clearly too young and almost didn't give me a sample) - Lift Lumiere is absolutely fantastic. Good coverage AND a sheer, glowy look. Moisturizing but not comedogenic. Doesn't emphasize small wrinkles, not dull and masklike, not drying. Makes my skin look fantastic, soft-focus perfect. The only downside is the limited shade range - all the lightest tones are yellow-based, I'd do much better with a very pale pink-based shade.
So if you are still looking for a great foundation, give Chanel's Lift Lumiere a try. I'll buy a full bottle soon.
