I have a £25 Amazon gift certificate, which I'm determined to spend on myself. Post-Christmas I'm well stocked with books and dvds, and as I'm in the latter stages of pregnancy, I thought something style-related might make me feel a little less frumpy. But I'm looking for something that can be worn post-pregnancy too... So jewellery, or an accessory I guess. Any suggestions?

Can I suggest shoes? SUCH great bargains to be had on Amazon on all sorts of brands. £25 might not go the whole way but if you chucked in a fiver you could get something lovely.

I thought this was going to be a thread for really big women Grin

How about some kind of hair styling device?

owl13 · 13/01/2012 18:18

Thanks both. Shoes a good idea, though always a bit nervous re mail order and stuff that needs trying on... Have never used a hair styling device except a hairdryer and with a toddler and a newborn on the books soon, maybe not the best time to start?? I've spotted these earrings which might be good: www.amazon.co.uk/Swarovski-crystal-earrings-Avantgarde-Jewels/dp/B00355OYVS/ref=sr_1_3?s=jewelry&ie=UTF8&qid=1326478635&sr=1-3

Amazon often has free returns and delivery on shoes because of the sizing issue. I only buy from shoes if I get free returns.

Didn't know that, thanks!

Would second the idea of shoes. Amazon stock Ash shoes - I recently purchased these beauties and would highly recommend - they are so comfy.

Did you know Amazon also sell beauty products now? Look here:
Amazon UK Health and Beauty Store :)

No I didn't thanks... Take it from lack of accessory/ jewellery responses that Amazon isn't the place to go for those....

Owl if you're buying anything make sure to compare prices as for some things Amazon can be v v dear. Accessories are a prime example.

Just stick whatever you're looking at on amazon into google and it will give you an idea.
