Debenhams

When did it get so crappy? Went in today - everything is made from some kind of nasty synthetic material, with that elasticated waistband they put in dresses because it's cheaper than tailoring them. And they wanted £40 for an unlined polyester/viscose dress.

Plus, I know it's the January Sales and retail must be a pain to work, but try not to seem so put out when you serve people, hen. Actually speaking to the customer rather than pushing their receipt across the counter in their general direction whilst chatting to your mate behind the till would be a good idea. I've had a horrid experience with them online (they sent a lotion/handwash set unpadded in a jiffy bag and couldn't be arsed when I rang up to complain - and my motto is generally 'don't be a dick') but I would have thought the high street stores would be working harder to keep customers coming back.

Once I have sorted out issues from a November order that are still ongoing I will never, ever use them again.

There sale is dreadful.

We have a small debenhams where you can get some reasonable stuff but generally very rubbish IMO.
