How can I get the dewy look on my face, without looking oily?

I usually use MAC Studio Fix foundation but it's quite matt, so I went in to buy something with a bit more shine and they told me to mix a bit of strobe cream (forget what it's called!) in with the foundation before applying, which didn't really work.

Now I'm using the Studio Sculpt foundation on another recommendation from them, but it just looks quite greasy so I have to put a bit of powder over the top to blot it, which defeats the object really!

Any ideas what else I could try? I need something with good coverage really due to a few scars from spots bloody Mirena

Thanks Grin

let us know how you get on!
but absolutely, you have to play around and experiment until you feel comfortable with it.

Thanks again everyone, really helpful! I've heard good things about NARS so might try some of that out too.

New mum, I have highbeam but it looks too painted on for me. I'm probably not rubbing it in fast enough! Maybe I'll try and mix it in with foundation instead.
