I love that. I have a pretty boring brown that is basically the same as my own colour but a little richer. It's so similar that it has grown out about 1 - 2 inches and no one but me can tell :o

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 15:39

By 'tinged' obviously I mean TONGED! Blush

meltedchocolate · 07/10/2011 15:39

JodieHarsh · 07/10/2011 15:44

I wish I had more time to play today. This is SUCH FUN

When I have FIVE MINUTES TO MY DAMN SELF I'll be following you all on pinterest in an openly and unashamedly stalky fashion.

Ok... so Pinterest is kind of a mix between things that you bookmark and forget about, and things you 'like' on FB for no good reason, right?

I'm confused - I joined with my MN name, but now it says that's taken. BY ME presumably... Confused

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 15:51

I use XXL Live. It really conditions my hair and makes it shiny. Don't know when I'll ever go to brown, doesnt suit me. Can't really have purple hair forever.

meltedchocolate · 07/10/2011 16:08

says who??

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 16:14

Little bit excited Grin en route to orange lady. I hope she makes me beautiful

MmeLindor. · 07/10/2011 16:19

Well, I was not sure that this stuff works, but I mentioned to a schoolrun mum that I had lunch with DH today and she said, "That is why you are looking radiant today".

Hmm.

MmeLindor. · 07/10/2011 16:21

Now if anyone can find a lipstick that will stay on my permanently dry lips, I will crown Jodie Queen of MN Style.

They are extremely dry. I have never worn lipstick and have tried all sorts of stuff to hydrate them.

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 16:25

Mme I have dry lips and use Maybelline 24 hour lasting stuff - it has a lovely lip balm thingy as well which you use throughout the day so no dry lips!

The Max Factor one is slightly more drying so possibly not for you.

valiumredhead · 07/10/2011 16:26

That is why you are looking radiant today is that code for "You look like you've just been roggered senselss?" Wink

JodieHarsh · 07/10/2011 16:32

Have you tried the Lipfinity stuff, Mme? My lips tend to be dry but I just make sure I'm all Carmexed to the max first, then put it on, then make sure I apply the top coat. Stays all day - indeed, you practically have to use WD40 and a loofah to get the bloody stuff off.

Arf at code for rogered senseless Grin

Normal lipstick is generally hopeless, tbh.

LOL at rogered senseless

VivaLeBeaver · 07/10/2011 16:54

Does anyone know how to drag the pin it button into the bookmarks bar on an iPad please? It tells me to but if I have the bookmarks bar open the button is hidden behind it. I've tried dragging the button just to my bookmarks icon but it won't drag anywhere.

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 17:40

I've been done. Skin looks lovely but need to vamp my eyes up a bit. Smile

Silver66 · 07/10/2011 18:51

Do we think that in the big scheme of things there MUST be some orange ladies that read this thread..................Grin

Think I need to work on my BE application technique - not lasting on my face like everyone elses

Wink
VivaLeBeaver · 07/10/2011 19:17

I've Sussed it out on my iPad.

Sarayu · 07/10/2011 19:25

Can I come and have a pre-going out moan. I AM SOOOOOO FECKING FAT Sad Thought I'd feel fab after having my face done. Still huge and bloody ugly. Gonna be a fun date today. I'm gonna get sloshed

ggirl · 07/10/2011 19:32

My lookfanttastic starter set arrived ...woo hoo
the brushes are teeny though will it still work or do i need to purchase a mother fucker of a brush?

meltedchocolate · 07/10/2011 19:36

Sarayu, you get to go out and have some fun and you are whining why? I haven't been out since April 2010 and I am 21!! Don't make me come over there and kick your whining butt! Enjoy yourself and relax :)

fannybanjo · 07/10/2011 19:40

valium mine is Buxom (which I certainly am not!) and it is lovely! Definitely recommend it. Gives a nice sheen and stayed on for ages. Yes, 15 miles, yes, I am a fucking headcase! I have 3 half marathon races coming up over next 5 months then considering doing Manchester Marathon in April so getting the miles up to about 20 then going to see how I feel before I enter marathon. Very sensible approach which is shocking for me to be so organised!

fannybanjo · 07/10/2011 19:41

ggirl I found the concealer one fine but foundation brush too small. I use a boots No7 one I got with a bronzer which works great.

ggirl · 07/10/2011 19:53

can it be any big bruch then??
Have a few big ones.....ooo err

whojimmyflip · 07/10/2011 20:00

Not sure if this link will work

Whatever mineral base you use this is a very good brush - you get lighter application than the kabuki so better control over how much foundation you are using.

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Full-flawless-face-brush-Bare-Escentuals-New-sealed-/270827570220

There are lots on eBay - I think BE is much cheaper in the US so I guess people must bulk buy to sell over here.

Anyway, I like this brush - possibly it comes with the BE starter packs... It used to.
