...as they were known in the 80s. Worn with jeans. I then see there is something similar in the Joules catalogue. Are they back? Will I, once again, be putting my hair up in tweedy flat cap thing too? Or, are some looks too tragic to revisit?

tweed jacket with faux fur

I just bought a navy jacket in a similar shape to that one madammecholet, it's a boden one but I got it on ebay. I don't think you can go too far wrong in a well fitting wool jacket or blazer, can you? I am not sure about the actual tweed patterns though, for me personally.

Now over forty the tweedy look is more miss marple than channel.

I am LOL at the horsey fashions that come and go - the jodhpur thing was the best, was that last year? Those weird zipped faux jodhpur things with leather patches, all about £60 a pop, my actual jodhpurs cost £13.99 from the local farm shop.

Oh I love jodhpurs... Real ones. Not likely to be worn with the hacking jacket given that I won't actually be riding. Just kind of alluding to it
