I'm sorry, cherrypie. I can officially report that ebony are a very nice colour (think rich dark chocolate) and are not a shaggy suede, more a nubuck type material.
They're comfy, and come up true to size. THe buckles are really nice too!

But - they are quite flimsy at the top, as the material is quite thin, even with the lining. I don't know how they'd wear. I'm going to see what the khaki ones are like, and then choose between them on Friday.

And Clarks reckon more sizes are due in any day, so you should be ok if you want them Smile

Hmmm...sounds annoyingly good. Have had a dispatch email from Clarks so my khaki's should be here soon, they perhaps could be less thin as they are leather, so fingers crossed on colour. Thanks for feedback, state of bank account making me feel slightly less excited today as really shouldn't have Blush

Well, went to get my khakis this morning and they.. aren't. They're a mushroom brown grey colour. Still nice, and I bought them, but not at all the colour I was expecting!!

Let me know what you think when you get yours, cherrypie!

Do the (non) khaki ones seem less flimsy at top, carlywurly?

I bought these this summer clarks I found them quite bigger than Clarks normally came up ---But they feel comfy and I can't wait to wear them

Are they easy to pull on, Rosa? (One of attractions of the Norley for me is they have a zip so should be easy to get on).

poly, yes they do seem a bit more substantial. The leather is lovely quality, and probably better in the rain than the suede.

And they're really easy to get on - very adjustable due to the buckles, which aren't just for decoration. They're wide enough to wear over jeans too, and I'm not particularly slight of calf!

Recommend them, just don't expect the same colour as on the web. Smile

Can I use the 20% offer in store, or is it just an online code?

Khaki ones definitely not khaki, but still a very nice colour.

I'm really pleased with them. Delivery is a bit slow though. Picking took 48 hours and delivery the same! Some trainers I ordered last night from a crappy sports shop SportsDirect came today, less than 24 hours later!

MrsGerardButler, I bought some boots in store and told them if they couldn't give me the discount I would go home and order them online. After initially telling me there weren't any discounts they then produced a leaflet, I filled in my email address and got the 20% offHmm

Mine just arrived this morning, and I am very pleased. As carly says not silly slim fitting, I have my skinnies tucked in at the mo and didnt struggle to zip up at all. Very soft leather means they not overly rigid at the top but so far think I could walk in them all day as vv comfy. I like the colour, def 'mushroom' good description and think they will darken with some wear and polish. Overall they are great as an alternative to Uggs for me, smarter, more practical in bad weather, the £18 discount with code makes them a good buy, original price would have been too much. Smile

Wore mine out last night and had to run back to DP's through town in them due to an unexpected cloudburst. (I lead a glamorous life Hmm !) Can report that they are lovely and comfortable to wear - no breaking in required. Really pleased!

I've just ordered online but for collection in-store. At no point was there any option to include a discount code, but the price did go through at £0.00 as you pay in-store when you collect, so I'm assuming I may have to kick up a fuss when I go in to get the 20% off. Tsk.

Gorgeous looking boots though - excited!
