Help put me off these - I want them, can't afford them

I'm afraid I can't put you off but I'm here with offerings of distraction seeing as you appear to be a bit of a boot expert!

I'm pre-empting crap weather and would like over the knee boots to see me through 3 school runs ever morning, running around at work and then 3 school runs in the afternoon. I need to be suited and booted for work but I hate the cold in winter and need protection for the school run so I'm thinking wooly tights, over the knee boots and my 3/4 length skirt and then my top half can be shirt and jacket for work and my nice big n fluffy North Face for the school run.

Any help would be appreciated and apologies for the highjack but I do have your best interests and purse strings at heart I promise

I've not seen any over the knee boots that have grabbed my eye Bohica. I always wonder if your leg will be able to bend properly in over the knee boots iyswim.
