Are these shoes really foul?

They are incredibly comfortable.

I need some shoes to go with a navy blue dress and cream sequin shrug whispers for a wedding. The consensus seems to be to wear nude shoes, but they don't work with my dark skin. Am struggling to find anything with sensible sized heels - will be on my feet for a good 12 hours.

Right, have ordered these. They're a bit darker than many of the nude shoes I've seen in the shops and look quite sturdy. Hopefully they're a bit better looking than the gold ones.

Thank you for the suggestions

I like them. Great with navy cigarette trousers/capri/skinnies and a blazer imo.

Sorry OP, I prefer the Mary Portas ones. :(

Don't want to dishearten you Flibber but they look really uncomfortable.
