New makeup needed - talk to me about Benefit please

I'm starting from (sort of) scratch with my makeup bag. I've got a foundation (L'Oreal Infallible), blusher and powder (both No7) that I'm happy with so am in the market for new eye and lip makeup - eye shadows, eye liner, something for brows, mascara, lip stain and gloss. I like the look of a lot of the tutorials on the Benefit website, especially for eyes. Would you recommend? Products worth the money? Any alternatives? TIA

satine you star! I was lying awake last night thinking of her and couldn't remember for the life of me what she was called. Now on her website and tutorials are awesome. She's a lovely looking lady (bit of a crush, I'll admit Wink) but her before and after shots just show what good make up can do. Many thanks!

GOSH at Superdrug do a v similar eyebrow kit for a fraction of the price of Benefit: three shades of powder and a wax with a brush/foam thingy in a compact. Their brow pens are also great.

Thanks for the Lisa E rec - gosh, she's pretty. I'm sure that somebody on Mn once posted to a similar looking woman putting blusher on but I can't see it on there. I do like that v pink doll cheeked sort of look but can never really get it right.
