What would you ask clothes and shoe designers to STOP bloody designing and trying to flog us?

On my list:

  1. Tops/dresses with necklines which show your bra straps. As most women wear bras and most bra straps aren't designed for public display, this would seem to be a basic design flaw.

  2. Skirts / trousers / jeans with pockets in stupid unflattering places. We don't need the extra bulkage thanks.

  3. Yet ANOTHER bloody gladiator sandal. Just because I hate them.

What would be on your list?

Back to playsuits. The sales are full of them. How can designers be so naive to think that this item of clothing isnt crime against fashion? And the shops can't even give them away.

While we have had a warm week last week the weather hasn't exactly been playsuit weather round here for most of the summer.

Please, skirts which finish on the knee. I have been RIDICULOUSLY happy the last two weeks as Gap finally brought out one pencil skirt which is flattering and doesn't finish mid thigh. I wear these clothes for work - I need to NOT look like I'm going clubbing. Tah.

Oh, and could you also please be more imaginative than just offering scoop neck t shirts. Boat neck, slash neck - they look nice on me, but as rare as hen's teeth. Or currently, all striped.
