Hmm, nice skirts but want something I could wear also in the day - ie glam and a bit different but no quite so obviously evening. Sorry. Could you take these back on the rail, thanks.

FrenchKissUnderMistletoeGirl · 28/11/2005 23:03

Just doing laaaaaast check before we shut for the night.

Puff think the Leora is fab, quite fancy it myself: pretty, black, but a bit different, and still easy to wear

Aloha: I need an assistant to put these on the rack for me, have become too important for menial tasks, if you ask nicely might have another look for you

Milliways if you go for the first one promise me you'll get sexy necklace as well

FrenchKissUnderMistletoeGirl · 28/11/2005 23:12

Milliways try Monsoon in Tops - Long Sleeves - Marianne Burnout Wrap Top

FrenchKissUnderMistletoeGirl · 28/11/2005 23:30

well must go now

will probably dream of virtual shopping
might do nothing for my sanity but it's brilliant for my bank account

go no FG stop talking to yourself and try mean faces in the mirror now

that's gorge
nice length too
I am a bit unconvinced about silver shoes though, I fear they may make me look like an aging south american tart

new customer alert

hmm, never been in this store before, wonder if they can help??

I need something to wear for a drinks party next Saturday. It's in late afternoon, early evening and I am stumped. Also got some other fairly casual "engagements" coming up so something with a bit of life in it is good.

About me: long brownish reddish hair, may wear up or down not sure yet. Large ar8e (size 14) and mum tum, muffin top, whatever you call it, still hanging around 8 months later (aaarrgh!). Smallish boobs. Exhausted looking.

want to look: glamourous but look like I didn't try too hard. Happy with a bit of quirkiness.
Bought some sparkly eyeliner from Mac yesterday so if all else fails I have always got that.

I like fairly casual stuff and am happy with great jeans and a good top for this. Also happy with faberoony wrap dress over good trousers a la Trinny (although the shoes might stump me). Happy to wear dresses/skirts but A line just below knee is best for me I think.

Colour possibilities : hmm, DH says no reds/pinks/oranges (though I quite like red and pink). Blue/brown good. Think black makes me look even more knackered. Am loving that gorgeous petrol blue that is around this winter so if you can find me something in that I'll be a satisfied customer.

One last thing - I like my clothes comfy.

A challenge, moi?

HELP ME (or nominate me for wntw, whichever)

motherpeculiar · 29/11/2005 09:37

oh dear - I have terrified them with my lack of specificity

or maybe it's just too early for the staff here

guess I could just shoplift a few choice items while no-one appears to be around, no sign of CCTV here

christ cod you on commission for kew or what
fab stuff tho I will admit

motherpeculiar · 29/11/2005 09:48

dammit - got new foundation and powder from Mac yesterday too, and a nice lipgloss in "lovechild" a fairly nude pink thing - makes me feel all frivolous. Cream blusher you reckon? ok

any ideas now or later VERY welcome - am desperate. Have been living in jeans and tshirts since DD2 born and need something else.

will check out the kew link

not sure I have enough time for online shopping (would it get here in time?) but will be in Covent Garden tomorrow with an hour free to shop and could possibly go shopping Thurs afternoon too if necessary
