'Bang on trend'?

I love clothes, and shopping, and these days, having two small children and a disabled DH, do most of my shopping online (love when the parcels arrive!) but oh, the times I have wanted to slap the copywriters for their off-putting 'fashion' cliches (use of which seems to be inversely proportional to the stylishness of the item or website in question. So, here are my favourite no-nos (?!). What are yours?

Bang on trend
Killer heels
Piece
Trouser (singular)
As you will
Sassy

(you can probably identify at least two websites from that list!! :))

ha at some of these.

'Make your eyes pop' is mine as it conjures up bad imagery. Eyes popping and all that.

I bought Look the other day, after not buying any fashion mags for years. Utterly wanktastic pretentious journalese shite.

They're just effing clothing. Put them on. Go out. End of.

Colours popping winds me up. Except its such an Americanism its "colors"....i can even hear some Noo Yawk fashionista drawling it " colorrrrrz". Ak.

"Must Have" does my head in too. No, that paisley print halter neck maxi dress is not a "must have" for me Gok. It would look bloody ridiculous!

Fashion magazines that tell us "If you must buy one thing this week....." - usually some ridiculously priced handbag - it's no wonder young girl are in so much debt. I've also given up reading fashion magazines as they just regurgitate the same old crap.

Also hate "quintessentially English" - ie even makes the skinny model look frumpy!!

"style it with" . . . yeah, I'll have my stylist get right on that. Hmm
"work autumn's hobo vibe (or whatever) with . . . ." . . . What's that? I've got RuPaul on line two.

"cool-girl style" . . . I was under the impression I no longer had to measure myself against the "cool girls," SINCE I AM NO LONGER FIFTEEN EFFING YEARS OLD.

damn, I read too much of this stuff

'Sourced' as in 'the diamante vest was sourced from Asda in Barnet'.
