Thanks ladies, not much help to be found unfortunately - feeling good though; cleaning has been blitzed this morning, sitting down to menu plan now and at least my Mum just called (from a jaunt into London) to tell me how much she appreciates all I am doing.

Afternoon of people viewing the house for rental now, which I'm oddly looking forward to. An intense form of people-watchig where you can ask nosy questions. Excellent.

I'm not having much luck with my sale shopping. Both top and cropped cashmere cardigan from Boden are going back. They seem big and bulky somehow.
Now that ollie is away, I shall add some other Great Plains links. this top is really pretty, and this great casual basic. Wish there was a concession somewhere close to me so I could have a feel for their clothes though.

bloss I always find that Boden can be a bit hit and miss. I love the GP stripey top. Great to wear with Houlis/Agnes .

My boss has become a bit resentful about me quitting and is giving me silly tasks which I need to have completed by next Friday (my last day). I am trying to handle the situation with grace but it costs me a lot of energy. I have only mentioned this to justify why I am propped up on the couch in the middle of the afternoon watching a documentary about the Opera in Paris . DD is out until tonight at her friend's birthday party.

The baby is snoozing in her basket beside me (usually can't get her to settle in the day which makes me think that DD1 disturbs her) and I am having a nice quiet time before I collect DD1 from her friend's house.

Thanks laduree, I always forget about FC in Chester. I feel very old the times I've gone in there! I've ordered the dress, it comes in a cowl neck top too whick might be a better option as I fear the dress will be too short even with flats and opaques. Also that lovely top is in a colour called panacotta. WTF colour is that? Being a 'winter' I need dulux pure brilliant White!

School fair here today - and the weather is changeable to say the least. Am in skinny flares with flats and blue top. Two birthday parties and s dinner party this weekend. Will have to scrutinise the weather forecast tomorrow, but I think my TS Jessies will be worn and probably a summer dress if the weather improves.

Longish run today in the rain and driving wind - not fun, but I was at the furthest point in an 11.5 mile loop when it started throwing it down so there was no choice but to grit my teeth and soldier on!

DD3 won most improved participant at pony camp today and came 3rd in show jumping(proud mother!) She is always so eager to please, which is so nice and makes it all worthwhile

Well, I popped into Westfield after work, to get DH a birthday present. Did a little bit of trying on for myself, namely the whistles dress that red owns and the blue blouse that Carciofi recently purchased. I also tried in the Coast dress that I linked to and the LK Bennet Davina. I looked bloated and fat in all of them. However, I do have an excuse. I found out I am 4 weeks pregnant yesterday!!

Very early days yet, so not telling anyone in RL but was bursting to tell someone .

I have nothing to report clothes-wise. The parcel I picked up from the post office today was DDs school uniform. She is starting reception in August and is very excited. I almost had to blink back a tear when she tried her uniform on.
