mrsjuan · 10/07/2011 19:51

Aghhhhhh meant to pm that - hope mn is on the ball deleting tonight .

mrsjuan · 10/07/2011 19:51

aghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

ApuskiDusky · 10/07/2011 19:53

Have reported it too MrsJ, hope they spot it soon.

mrsjuan · 10/07/2011 19:57

phew

blossoming · 10/07/2011 20:02

What was that about?

Emo76 · 10/07/2011 20:12

Evening all.

Good luck apuski for the interview - love that dress.
portia I hope you had help with the washing up!

Got a holiday bikini today finally from Seafolly - can't find to link to but sort of frilly halterneck top and bottoms with some decent coverage in hot pink. Am panicking more about DD1 and DD2's packing than mine at this point though, we're off on Sat for 2 weeks, I can't wait. Will be interesting to spend that length of time with DH as we seem like ships passing in the night sometimes, can we revitalise things? I hope so.

mrsjuan · 10/07/2011 20:43

bloss - I stupidly broadcast my full name and address to the world thinking I was sending a pm to carciofi. Think I will namechange just in case.

FritziGreenEyes · 10/07/2011 20:48

Had a lovely BBQ with friends despite the rainy weather. DCs played for hours and we had time for proper chat and lots of Prosecco Aperol Smile.

emo Seafolly swimwear is great. Where are you off to? Hope you can re-connect with DH.

apuski Love your new dress. Fingers crossed for your interview.

Where is everyone tonight!?!?

moragbellingham · 10/07/2011 20:54

Anyone watching The Killing (US version) on C4? I can't decide whether to carry on watching or try and get the Danish version downloaded. Different killers apparently.

Apuski -hope you found lots to do, we have been doing lots of indoor swimming but today was a beach day.

moragbellingham · 10/07/2011 21:03

Congrats to WAN - have you calculated your EDD yet?
I remember finding out very early too and having to keep it to myself for what seemed like an eternity. I was showing at about 4 weeks though so everyone guessed (how can you go to a pub and disguise the fact that you're not drinking for 3 months anyhow)!

moragbellingham · 10/07/2011 21:05

bloss - have you tried the "elegant vests" - wondering if they have a deep V neck?
I've ordered the linen mix T as it's £6.50 now and thought would be OK at that priceWink.

FritziGreenEyes · 10/07/2011 21:09

Could this skirt work for autumn with opaques and black shoe boots??? Or is it just too much???

blossoming · 10/07/2011 21:15

Oh dear mrsjuan, maybe a name change wouldn't be a bad idea! Have you got pregnancy brain already?

Ooh I love hot pink emo. The holiday will be great I'm sure.

My parents had a great time in Germany fritzi. Dad came home in his shorts! Possibly to annoy me. He has the worst legs and will insist on wearing shorter type shorts. He changed pretty quickly though. Brr! Dd so sweet showing off her potty capabilities to them. I bet they needed to see that!

Fleecy · 10/07/2011 21:16

Congratulations amber - what wonderful news, and such a pretty name!

marsha verrry nice boots but quite £££. Maybe in the January sales? I have saved into my wishlist ? nothing like a bit of forward planning Smile

carciofi did you get that white linen NF top? It?s very pretty and classic.

So pleased for you WAN and mrsj - such an exciting time.

herecomesthesun I?m 27wks and have mostly stayed in non-maternity t-shirt dresses, maxis or floaty cotton tops/blouses with leggings or jeans, using bump bands where necessary to hide the hair band extending my jeans Grin I have found lots of my jeans are low enough to stay under the bump so the extra inch or so is perfectly sufficient. I have got two pairs of maternity jeans (Top Shop skinny flares and Asos skinnies) from eBay but have only just started wearing them. I did buy a maxi skirt from Primark and wear it with a stretchy tank one size up ? I think as long as the top is fitted then it?s fine. I?d look like a walking whale in a floaty top/maxi combo.

reallygrumpy wow! Bet you can?t wait now!

We are on holiday in Dorset this week, arrived yesterday for fish and chips on the seafront, lazy walk, pub lunch and family visits today. Now about to get an early night before heading up to Longleat tomorrow. Hoping the DC will love it...

blossoming · 10/07/2011 21:18

morag Confused?

carciofi · 10/07/2011 21:26

MrsJ, poor you! I got your pm.
Bloss, hope your dh's consultant appointment goes well.
Apuski, best of luck and lovely dress.
Fritzi, it was actually DD1 (3 yo) who fell, she landed right on the pavement and roared. I had to buy her an ice cream to make it up to her! You are so nice, buying maternity clothes for your sister. I found Seraphine the best.
Emo, hope you have a great holiday.
Fleecy, not yet, will order when I receive an eBay payment. Have a good holiday.
I'm giving Current/Elliot another chance and ordered these straight leg jeans as a (hopefully temporary) replacement for my J Brands that don't fit.
I'm liking this bag. :)
Watching Spiral here, the prosecutor is very easy on the eye!

FritziGreenEyes · 10/07/2011 21:43

carciofi Gorgeous VB bag!

Emo76 · 10/07/2011 21:54

I gave up watching telly this eve when "Master and Commander" had a surgery scene - I am too squeamish.

fleecy what a lovely weekend that sounds like!

blossoming · 10/07/2011 22:04

Nice bag carciofi. You are the queen of handbags. And those jeans are a great colour. I am reading. Current paragraph concerns setting appropriate homework in a modern language class. Interesting. But scarey!

notyummy · 10/07/2011 22:07

Hi all!

Frantically busy but fun weekend here. Sundress and bronze flats today, shirts and floral top yesterday afternoon, and skinnies and floaty FC top for soft play centre party yesterday. We have bought a tent. Only ever anning 2 nights away at a time and DH insists I do not need to cook!

Hope you are enjoying your holiday Fleecy.

Gorgeous dress for your interview Apuski- good luck!

I too loved the Wire.

Emo- I loved Master and Commander Grin

AllBuggiedOut · 10/07/2011 22:51

morag the Danish version of The Killing was brilliant. I started watching the US version on C4 the other night but it seemed to have lost much of what was good about the original.

Not much of a description there Bloss but I meant these things.

I was hoping that the Beckhams wouldn't choose one of my DDs names and make it ridiculously popular. Needn't have worriedShock - I just keep thinking Blake's Seven.

Think I may watch both versions of the Killing and compare.

moragbellingham · 11/07/2011 07:45

Fritzi - I'm liking the whole idea of the opaques with skirt but think the colour makes it difficult to play down.
I have a matt black sequin one from last yearfrom Banana Republic which still looks too OTT for my public outings. You probably have more cause to wear such items thoughEnvyWink

carciofi · 11/07/2011 09:19

I'm not keen on the Beckham's baby's name but each to their own.

Fritzi, that skirt is cool, if I had somewhere to wear it, I would get it too.

I haven't seen the Killing yet (way behind) but it is on my DVD list.

Those tops are a good price, Morag, please report back!

Annie, pretty necklace. Your DDs sound gorgeous.

When DH left this morning, DD1 said "Daddy has gone to work and it's ALL YOUR FAULT". Charming!

I need lots of coffee today. The poor baby has a cold already and is very snuffly.

I have been busy this morning and ordered a breadmaker (anyone else use one? I hope they are good) and this AH Maeve bag, I have been trying to resist but it was futile. Now going to think about getting a Mulberry or the red VB bag in the autumn.
