I still haven't found a ring I love. How about this one?

The Promise Lattice ring (the hexagonal thick band with lattice and stars).

I do really like this one. I think.

I've traded in some old jewellery (mostly grandmothers' dress rings, nothing too sentimental) and using the gold and stones to make my own version of this. The difference is that instead of the squiggle in the middle, I'm having squiggly intertwined initials (DH and 2 DCs). Hoping it will look good, only paying for the labour.

Hoping it will be a sentimental piece that I can wear every day, will suit my chunky hands and still be able to pass it on.

Meant to say that imo something that is made for you is worth a thousand flashy diamond rings. Why not meet with a goldsmith or jewelery designer and see what they come up with.

This man's jewllery is very lovely and I have a couple of rings from him - the photos don't do them justice and he is very good about sending things back if you need a bigger size or don't like it. He also does custom made jewellery.
