I also spend a lot on dresses, but tend to veer more towards quantity than quality. I always say I will change my ways, but before I know it I have seen and bought several items that I like. Most recent purchase was £170 Reiss dress that I plan to wear later in the year. Like some other ladies on this thread, I can vouch for the mood enhancing benefits of shopping, buying only what we can afford. And I am always pleased to see others buying themselves lovely things, be it clothes, accessories, homewares and interiors or whatever else they fancy.

Oh I soooo covet an anglomania dress, and I love iembarrassedmyself's dress Envy

I think my biggest splurge on 1 dress was about £150, pre-dc. I am now back in FT work so I plan on changing that and have had much inspiration on this thread Smile

I never end up spending much on dresses as I am always dieting and don't want to spend a lot on something that might not fit me in X months time. It's always wishful thinking though as I never get to the size 10 I have decided I have to be before I can spend a lot on clothes!!!

Think the most I have spent us about £70

£275, on a beautiful vintage handmade dress from Steinberg & Tolkein (RIP) about 12 years ago. I only wore it twice!

My wedding dress, on the other hand, was £55 in the end-of-season sale at Whistles.

About 5 years ago, I paid £150 for a black cocktail dress. I have worn it 7 or 8 times to different events and I still love it and feel beautiful in it!
