Outfit A or outfit B? (Or neither!)

My Dad is getting married in a couple of weeks and I have had an outfit ready for about 5 months, but I tried it on the other day with my new accessories and I'm just not sure it is right any more. So after a shopping trip I have come home with a second dress that is very different from my first one and although I love it, I am not entirely sure it is right either! I have trouble finding dresses to fit as I am tall, shapeless and flat chested, so these are the only 2 that seemed to work.

Can you please help me to decide which dress to wear. I have put photos on my profile page and I'm hoping they are clear enough for you to see the dresses. I still need a hat or flower for my hair, but can only decide on this once I know what dress I am wearing!

So... outfit A or outfit B?!!

The top dress is a younger dress IMO but both look good

Thanks for the replies! The colour in dress a is a deep purple, but doesn't come across well in the photo. It's this dress here.

My Dad isn't really conservative and they wouldn't mind what we wore, really. I just want to feel nice and get a decent photo of DH, the DCs and me for once!! Grin

I was worried the purple one might be a bit frou-frou, but I like that it is a bit different.

I'm hoping it will be warm enough to not need tights. Not thought of nude shoes. If I did nude shoes and purple dress, what would I wear in my hair/ on my head? I'm blonde, so would it look too wishy-washy to have something nude coloured in my hair? I think I'll have to have a trying on session in town!

Another A - not everyone could carry that off but you certainly can.
Was also going to suggest silver or nude shoes - more summery. Preferably without tights.

Agree though that nude in blonde hair won't look zingy enough - will leave the experts on hats and to suggest what would!

I like them both but if I had to choose for you I'd say the purple one as it's quite an unusual colour and style.

Fab legs, definitely A looks great. Could you wear a purple thing in your hair and have a nude bag to match the shoes....
