notyummy Thanks I got the message Grin.

bloss Hope your shopping trip was successful and you are back with bags full of lovely things to distract you from pain.

emo and marsha Wohoo, for getting your shopping mojos back!

annie I like your spring outfit!

ollie Are you recovering from Vodka-bookclub-night? Smile

carciofi · 14/04/2011 15:05

Hey ladies, hope you are all well.

Bloss, hope you are shopping until you're dropping!

Marsha, I was tempted by the Tory Burch pink flats this morning.

Fritzi, I love Bottega Veneta (don't have one) but that is a good alternative.

Emo, fab spree especially the bag!

LTEC, nice scarf. I am on a scarf banuntil the Crumpet sale. I am going to PM you if you don't mind as we are thinking of moving to your area.

My dad just left, it was really nice to see him and he took us out for some lovely lunches and dinners. He bought a Phil & Teds and all the accessories for us as a present which was very generous. He will be back in June to see the new addition.

Dolcee, I just got red crocs for my DD. I think they are very cute on little kids. I wouldn't wear them though!

I still don't feel great, I have a sinus infection which I hope will clear up soon.

Fleecy, thanks, will check those cargos out as the Seraphine ones arrived and I don't like them. Is your DS three soon? My DD is three next week.

I tried on the LK Bennett trench] yesterday and it is a little short in the sleeves. Thinking of [[http://www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Coats-Jackets/Coats/WE285-NAV/Womens-French-Navy-Spring-Trench.html?NavGroupID=2 this Boden one, what do you think? I can always return it. The Maxmara jacket I liked is back in stock in House of Fraser and they will give me 25% off to make up for the one that got lost, but not sure now.

carciofi · 14/04/2011 15:06

PetitDonkey, I like Chanel and Nars (jungle red) for nail polish.

carciofi · 14/04/2011 15:06

And Pickles, have a great holiday.

carciofi · 14/04/2011 15:09

oops, LK Bennett trench

PORTIA4 · 14/04/2011 15:52

Hi Everyone!
Bloss 'hope Chester was a sucess Smile
Fritzi It's got to be glamour! Do wear that fab dress that you wore to Moamu - you looked great in it.
Emo Great shopping, hope that your purchases are keepers, I love the dress.
Carciofi Great mac- you should get it!
This dress arrived from Boden today, 'haven't tried it on yet, but 'hope that it may do for my nephews Communion.

carciofi · 14/04/2011 16:03

Lovely colours on the dress, Portia. Just went to order the navy Boden mac and it is sold out now, oh well.

Emo76 · 14/04/2011 16:07

aaagh NAP order has been delivered to office and have just had a sneaky peak at the bag - should Mulberry bags come with a dustbag? And the lock on it seems mildly marked/scratched! I am soo disappointed as I love the colour. Though it is a lot of money for a small bag. Back it goes. Will go to a Mulberry shop to get one instead. GRRRRR.

carciofi · 14/04/2011 16:10

Emo, yes, it should have a dustbag. Annoying about the scratches.

Emo76 · 14/04/2011 16:43

I am disproportionately upset about my bag! Have spoken to customer services, all they can do is collect it and process a return.

fritzi I am with the crowd -you looked a m a z i n g at the MOAMU

carciofi that is so sweet of your dad to get you such a fab pram, how exciting!

where is OWW?!

blossoming · 14/04/2011 16:49

That is awful emo.
Glad you had a good time with your dad carciofi. And what a great gift.

I have finally (and I'm trying not to do this in capitals and bold) but finally, found a top to go with the Wrap shorts. It is a loose fit white t shirt from jigsaw with a seam detail down the back. This one. I had almost given up.
However I do not know what's going on with their sizing. Their bretonesque linen long sleeve tops in a Small would be a 16 in other shops. I looked ridiculous.

None of the things I wanted to look at in Oasis were there. I am no closer to a 2011 Breton.
But when I got home I had a package from Boden, and I love, love, love this beach dress in green. The pleat neck dress in azure now reduced, is such a lovely colour, but massive and too long, so I'll down size and length, and hope it comes before Tuesday.
So a very good day. And 2 for one on dvds in Sainsburys, so got some of DS's favourites for the trip.
Did I mention, we are ....CAMPING!!!!

OP posts:
LTEC · 14/04/2011 16:50

that is ridiculous from Nap, you should be offered a discount on a later purchase at the very least. Had similar on a pair of Choos from them a few years ago - big ol' scratch on one of them - and it took some badgering and a bit of "um, excuse me but this is not what you expect from a site whose USP is luxury to your door" - but eventually I got some ££ out of them. So disappointing for you, sorry to hear.

carciofi email me immediately!! how exciting. Quite a few ladies from this thread in this area actually .......

carciofi · 14/04/2011 17:10

LTEC, have emailed you! Would be great to be able to get to Southbank, Borough market etc again. I miss that area.

Agree that NAP should have offered you a discount, Emo.

Bloss, I like both the dress and t-shirt .

FritziGreenEyes · 14/04/2011 17:16

emo So annoying about the bag! Hope you get it sorted soon.

bloss I love the pleat neck dress and I am tempted to order yellow and/or white. Not sure about the size/length as I usually order 10L Hmm. Maybe I get a 10R instead...

blossoming · 14/04/2011 17:33

fritzi, get the 6!! I ordered 10L as reviewers said it was short. It isn't and you have to size down. I just ordered 8R. Cheap as chips with extra 15% off with st15. I did express delivery so should get here in time.
Perfect, throw on dress for doctor's visit, supermarket, church, lunch out (remembering my last holidays!)

OllieWollieWoo · 14/04/2011 17:38

I'm here, I'm here! Having one of 'those' days - have no energy and everything is a real effort. DH home early from a conference so off to have a bath and cooking a curry for dinner so that should sort me out! Boys off school tomorrow too so we can have a nice lazy day - and our lovely new white dresser is being delivered.

Book Club was nice - I passed on the vodka shots tho (flashback to drinking cheap and nasty vodka before Uni nights out - ergh).

Emo - thats really bad about the bag. I'm terrible about complaining (unless to DH!) but you should def do what LTEC advises
Carciofi - sorry to hear about you still feeling ill but how lovely of your Dad. Saw one of those new Bugaboo double prams today - looked really good. I love a good pram (house feels very empty without any!)
Blossoming - great top - also like in navy. I usually hate camping but have to say it was quite enjoyable in Italy (first holiday with DH).

OllieWollieWoo · 14/04/2011 17:42

Forgot to ask - does anyone have a Wrap code? Was thinking about this jumper here in oyster or the coral? I like the button detail.

blossoming · 14/04/2011 17:44

It's not proper camping ollie, mobile home on parc. So hairdryer and straighteners will be operational plus I'll have cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer. And crucially, separate rooms for dcs!!

MarshaBrady · 14/04/2011 17:55

yy Carciofi these TBurch pink flats. I always see that stuff floating by am interested to see what they are like irl. Not sure if the badge thing will be too much for me.

LTEC · 14/04/2011 18:37

these sandals arrived and are good. Just enough wedge to avoid stumpiness of leg, great colour, nice and supple. Tried with denim skirt, tee and Zara butterfly scarf and am quite pleased. NY think they would be good on you!

carciofi · 14/04/2011 18:50

Ollie, I have a code for free delivery: CK29. That is a pretty sweater. I am going to get a stripey t-shirt.

Marsha, those shoes look good.

At the risk of boring you all with my search for a new jacket, I'm going to wait and get a Barbour Cameron.

Bloss, that is my kind of camping.

Yes, it was so nice of my dad. He was very funny when we were looking at pushchairs and kept saying that there was nothing like this in his day and asking if I could trade in my old pushchair (I want to keep it as handy for buses etc). He did put me off the name I liked though (Clara) so back to the drawing board.

Reine, enjoy the road trip.

LTEC, lovely orange shoes.

Petit, Chanel nail polish in Dragon is also a great red.

wideawakenurse · 14/04/2011 19:23

Evening.

Great day here, DH had the day off so able to have a couple of hours to myself. Coffee in peace in Cafe Nero, followed by a mooch around the shops without a buggy. Heven.

Have already spent J-Brand returns money! Bought some slouchy turn up jeans in Gap, and also this top. No more stripes though.

Bloss - Quick question. DH and I will be in Cardiff for 2 nights. Can you recommend any bars/resturants? Last time I was there, it seemed like hen night's galore. Hoping to find something a bit high end-ish, but good atmosphere. Something totally different to my Brick Lane Bar hell last week.

MrsCampbellBlack · 14/04/2011 19:29

Hello!

Am in new house - move was stressful as DH working all the time but we're in. Some teething troubles in terms of no hot water, luke warm aga and mice but hey ho - the views are nice as I tell myself aproximately a million times a day.

And in the midst of all this chaos I have still managed to purchase the boden jersey dress that Bloss has but in the coral colour, a lovely white shirt from french connection - looks fab tucked into houlihans and am now coveting the ash jolouse boots. Oh loved the jigsaw biker jacket but it sold out before I purchased - good job as money being spent like water on house stuff.

Petit - OPI do fab colours with fab names and I also like Dior for nail varnish.

Reine - oooh love the lemon skirt - what are you going to wear it with?

moragbellingham · 14/04/2011 19:51

I've been umming and ahhing over both those dresses bloss so I think I've decided nowthat a seasoned buyer has given them the nod.

The 2 pairs of FF wedges were a disaster but only cos I can't decide between the 2 colours! V.comfy and high - ish.

LTEC - loving the Zara butterfly scarf - have you seen the silk Laura Ashley one too?
