Following on from the shoes to wear in Spring with jeans thread, I want to sort out the more pressing problem of everyday summer shoes to wear with skirts.
We are owed an actual summer, after three years of rain, and I have three years' backlog of lovely summer cotton skirts/dresses which I have bought and not worn (including a fabulous one I bought last week from Help The Aged for 4 quid 
).
I'm not really young enough or tall enough to get away with my beloved Converses with skirts, I can't wear flip flops, and dead flat gladiator sandals or ballet pumps make my feet hurt.
I need shoes that I can wear for hours/miles at a time, school-running, across Hyde Park or round the Science Museum. All the comfy ones I possess are hideous or too formal.
What are you lot going to wear?
