Indulge me please - how old do I look to you?

People tell me (unprompted) I don't look my age but I'm never sure whether they are being polite or if not what age they think I am. How old would you have said I look? My pic is on my profile and I'm wearing tinted moisturizer if that helps.

I think having a big age gap between me and DH makes me a bit conscious about it

Oh, shit, sorry, namechange- your photo is quite grainy, so difficult to tell- I was more going by your features than wrinkles or sagging(can't see any).

I think you're very pretty but I would say early 40s - or at least in a range from about 39 to 44

Namechange - I think you look a couple of years younger than me (and a bit like my friend who IS a couple of years younger than me!) so I'm going to go for about 38.

It's the glasses, namechange and the scarf thing- so styling, not your actual face, I think.

If I imagine your face without/different glasses I would say about/less than 30.

namechange Don't be concerned - one can't tell from a photo, and I agree with others who've said possibly the glasses don't make you look youthful.

You should see my greys, honestly, there's no way I pass as my age, I look ancient. Even worse, that pic was taken 18 months ago and I've had another baby since then, can you imagine?!

I have freaky specs cos my face is round like a fottball and anything else makes me look even fatter. And I admit the getup isn't so hot - would love to explain it away because we were up a hill walking but I'm not a whole lot better any other day tbh! Style in general escapes me.
