Indulge me please - how old do I look to you?

People tell me (unprompted) I don't look my age but I'm never sure whether they are being polite or if not what age they think I am. How old would you have said I look? My pic is on my profile and I'm wearing tinted moisturizer if that helps.

I think having a big age gap between me and DH makes me a bit conscious about it

Spiral I'm very surprised - I thought you were early 30s - you look lovely and fresh faced

Annie - you have no visible lines around your eyes, which is what all my early 40s friends are noticing so I would say early 30s too

Winny you look like you are very young - late teens, early 20s at a push

winny - my first thought was about 19, but on closer inspection I'd say probably about 26/27

What did I expect? I don't know really. I think I picture you as quite fierce (but in a good way). I think I have caricatures in my head. You're quite pencil skirt and dark rimmed glasses but with twinkly eyes. In reality you look like you've stepped off the front of some arty French magazine.

In your 40s I guess, are you going to tell us?

Namechange - hard to tell because of your glasses - the frames hide where any lines might be

OP I'm only saying this because you look about my age and I'm 50 - but people think I'm in my late 30s - so purely based on that, I would say 48?
