Turning 30 this year. And to be honest i have lost the plot when it has come to clothes.

So what do you think of this

QueeferSutherland - I have that red Anglomania dress it is fabulous on!

BelligerentGhoul · 23/02/2011 21:48

If you decided to go with a top and jeans

RussAbbotDancer · 23/02/2011 21:58

I know there's nothing better than a new dress, but given your measurements I think a vest and fancy skirt might be better.

Good quality black vest, low cut-ish, with waist-defining skirt that flares a bit. A rich colour or pattern on the skirt. Heels.

This sort of idea, but different skirt, and maybe a belt, and definitely one or two necklaces (I did say idea ...):

Well, I'm going against the grain here- I love the dress in the OP.

I think it is classic, not middle aged at all; however, I think you need to sex it up with leopardprint heels or something. What's your hair like?

Not frumpy or mature at all. Depends how you wear it.

tethersend · 23/02/2011 22:07

If you wear a vest and skirt I will hunt you down and kill you with my bare hands.

(Sorry, Russ. Such a good name...)

traceybath · 23/02/2011 22:14

I was going to link to Donna but Queefer has beated me to it.

Tis a fab dress!

vicbar · 23/02/2011 22:31

Hi OP

I have that dress in the midnight shade, it is a fab dress and have had so many compliments on it, but i mainly wear it for work.

that said in the red it is much more racey and it has a nice lowish v at the back which you can't see in the picture.

i think you could def sex it up like Tethers says with bare legs and some great shoes. I have also seen the girls in LKBennett wear it with a belt.

I have an email voucher for 15% of at LKB at the mo, don't know how to do these personal message things yet but if you message me your email address I can send it to you, or if you use the code Launch online you get the discount too.

I have this dress which is fab and they do it in other colours too, a bit more pricey though.

Elemental · 24/02/2011 11:51

I really like the dress in the OP too - agree with tethersend that it could look amazing depending on how you wear it.

I am 36 and also treading the difficult line at the moment. I think lace is a good thing in these circumstances and there is quite a bit of nice lacey stuff around at the mo.

Love this
