KristinaM · 18/02/2011 02:49

LOL at Lynette. Have your legs gone already dear?

Traceybath, go on, please link to school run dress. We won't scoff, honest Grin

KristinaM · 18/02/2011 02:51

No correction, we will. If it costs over £200 and is from Matches or Net a porter and is made of cotton so thin you can spit through it

traceybath · 18/02/2011 14:38

SRD possibly a bit too short for taller ladies - well depends oh how racey you want to look I guess in the playground Wink

BadPoet · 18/02/2011 14:41

I have just bought 2 lovely tops from White Stuff. Luckily I am drawn to frumpy, floral and mumsy and look just fine in them.

But have also a personal shopper appt at Debs booked for end of March.

whoneedssleepanyway · 18/02/2011 14:46

WTF is an SRD? I tried that dress on the other day Tracey and it didn't really do anything for me....was also v short.

traceybath · 18/02/2011 14:49

Oh I like the dress but am short myself and have no waist which works in that dress.

SRD - school-run dress. An ironic term coined by cod many moons ago to describe a dress you could throw on to do the school run - assuming you'd been gardening in your bikini/hotpants in the garden Wink

The term never fails to irritate many on here Smile

whoneedssleepanyway · 18/02/2011 14:51

aha - gotcha!

KristinaM · 18/02/2011 16:07

Very nice tracey. LOL at the description " ideal for date night". wrong on so many levelsGrin

gingersnaps3 · 11/04/2011 08:06

I think if you style yourself entirely like a manequin from a White Stuff window then you are bound to look frump, but if you use your imagination and mix the odd piece with something else, you can conjure up something really pretty.

I guess being 24 and a s8 helps, too. you can pull off the 'frunpy' look without actually looking frumpy.

colditz · 11/04/2011 08:08

The skirt is lovely as long as you're tall enough for it to not come below the knee

the grey cardigan looks like something old ladies throw away because it's too old fashioned

MikeRotch · 11/04/2011 08:57

its the SAME as the other stuff

just MEH MEH MEH

wendihouse22 · 11/04/2011 12:49

I think it's gone right "OFF". It's just more raggy looking tunic stuff in old curtain material. That's what it looks like to me.

And of the knitwear I've bought recently, it all looks horribly washed up now (April!!)
