Hi, been lurking around for a while...I've got a party to go to in a few weeks and need some ideas please! I'm 5f3, size 10 but look a 12!Huge bingo wings, saggy boobs, bigish tummy/love handles, huge calves! Don't have much going for me really, face ok, boobs ok in a good bra!Smallest part is just under my boobs so I was thinking maybe this top or this kind of style with wide leg trousers and heels? Fed up of going out and feeling like I'm not dressed for my shape IYSWIM. I like the blue or mulit-coloured...I also always wear head to toe black and think I need some colour for a change! I'm 29.

As others have stated, I don't like the blue ruffled H&M top. Please don't buy or wear anything like it. Ever.

Love the blue Miss Selfridge dress that Tethers linked and the Oasis one who hide the top of your arms if you feel self-conscious plus nicely accentuate your waist.

Promise I will never buy a single thing without first checking with you lovely ladies first...you will never get rid of me now!

Maybe I just need to ignore my fat legs and get a dress! (they are a bit elephantitis-y, and my friends have suggested I keep them under wraps!)would thick black tights be ok with these dresses? x

Hmmmm, not keen at all on that bed jacket but maybe its just a bad pic.

If you're into tops what about these

waist cincher would look good with skinnies and heels

hides bingo wings but would still give a waist - comes in loads of different colours

sort of like a nicer version of the bed jacket

FaffTastic · 14/02/2011 20:18

Am also not going to comment on your friends saying you have elephant legs! Maybe they have a touch of leg-envy considering you're petite size 10?

Re black tights - they wouln't be my first choice but think you could get away with 60-denier black opaques as long as you kept the shoes black aswell.

tethersend · 14/02/2011 20:19

yy to black opaques with the blue dresses.

nn to bed jacket and belt.

I like that first blouse, Faff

I love the first one! I will go try it on tom...what should i wear on bottom, skinny black jeans?!
I also like this but please tell me if it's awful again, I'm a bit scared I have been walking around like a complete twat for the last 10 years!

I def prefere your one though, do you think tan will be ok with my blonde hair? If I hoist my boobs up enough I might even look half decent for a change!.....oooh I'm excited.

I've got blonde hair and wear tan no probs. It dark enough so you don't look washed out. Think for a dressy-ish night out I'd wear black or indigio skinnies with it.

Feeling like a right cow now, but not keen on that last top you linked. As it ties just underneath the boobs I think it would look like an empire line and add pounds to your waist rather than nicely highlight it. Empire line always makes me look pregnant when my wiast is when of my best features (even if I do say so myself )

Trina82 · 14/02/2011 20:39

Don't feel like a cow, I wouldnt have asked if I didn't want the truth, and I agree anyway! I was just looking for anything that fitted under the bust area. Black skinnies is good...got them already got black heels, so will be sorted with just the top, thank you so much. Might be back tom if doesnt look as good on me though! Smile
