Tights and open toed shoes

Is this a hideous fashion faux pas? I have a feeling it is!
Have got a black tie do tomorrow in a chilly marquee inside a barn. Not sure I can face it without my tights as my dress is short and strapless but my shoes are peep toe. Can I get away with it?

Oh I love fake tan but am terribly pale without it.

And am a tad mutton in my tastes as well.

What with the white jeans, fake tan and now big hair - I'm like a miniature Liz Hurley wannabel

I like the kooky look - so, as others have said, I stick to opaues with open toes in winter. Think it looks fab. DH hates!!

Sorry I never realised I got so many replies, I changed my shoes for closed toe, dilema solved for those that are interested!
