Baked Gods, arf

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:11

I'm a half baked God.

I like anything that reeks of patchouli and hippy.

Cyb · 29/01/2011 10:12

oh I'm the exact opposite

couldnt be a hippy if I tried

Now back to BLOUSES people

JulesJules · 29/01/2011 10:22

I'm not actually allowed to post on s&b. HQ have a ShowyBell that rings when I try. I know they're at reduced staffing levels on Saturdays though so I schlep across to see how many words like boho and tie dye I can sneak in before they hound me off again.

I am today wearing a skirt I made from curtain fabric (it's brilliantly hideous) and a kaftan.

Nooooo. I don't belong here.

Cyb · 29/01/2011 10:24

am liking those frowsy kimono style open jackets too

i'm a jacketaholic but could work over a plain tee

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:25

Topshop? Are you 16 and chewing gum whilst lazing about in jeggings (plus ridiculous side parting and heavily made up eyes), sprawled bonelessly on a shopping centre floor like a dying bumble bee?

IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:26

It would crumple wouldn't it, badly I'd say/ I have a strop on at HoF because they ran out of 7's before I could order any.

Knobbers.

I will now go and listen to Gudrun's website to establish whether it was indeed her wot was making hissing sounds out of the earphones.

I thought something was up with the computer.

Bloody faux norwegian demoness.

Don't be sad Showy. Half her clothes are sacks. I bought some and they really were total;ly shapeless.

I've still got some bits to give away if you want anything?

Cyb · 29/01/2011 10:28

Show its like you KNOW me

SNORT at this, entitled 'Standing under the Seagulls Nest

OP posts:
IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:28

oh God, my EARS!

I'll never link to her again. That's just atrocious isn't it? It's not even music!

It's gamelan for whales.

IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:30

seagulls nest is brilliant Grin

I like the daisy print but not the funny shape. It reminds me of that bird in Doctors.

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:30

Do you have anything that will fit a sack of spanners? I always worry with Gudrun that it has to have layers to really work and layers = bulk. I do LOVE it though. I get the catalogue and browse it over an earl grey.

HoF? House of Fraser? Am I learning? There's a House of Fraser in Norfolk. It sells expensive kitchen implements and has snooty staff. Their cafe does nice cake though.

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:33

Oh good God in heaven Topshop do tie dye.

Cyb · 29/01/2011 10:37

that is the scariest item of clothing I have ever seen

OP posts:
IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:37

fake beard coat

Showy I've got a nice padded/fitted jacket thing and a sort of long knitted pink singlet? is that the word? There are so few words for gudrun clothes. So many variations on the sack, really.
And other bits.

what size are you? Finest Assam or Desiree?

IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:38

at playsuit

Oh My DOG

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:45

What is that coat?

I'm about this big,

IngridBergmann · 29/01/2011 10:49

I will make you up a parcel immediately later

measurements by PM please. Or you can take pot luck and chuck what you don't want.

No tie dye is involved, sadly.

ShowOfHands · 29/01/2011 10:51

Sorry Cyb.

I went out shopping with a friend the other day. Well, she shopped. I hung around and tried to show willing.

She bought this and this for wearing with jeans when going out. I'm sure she bought other stuff too but that was later in the day and I was in a full body coma at that point.

I'm trying to redeem myself for the hijacking.

They're clothes right, those links? Not hippyish either? Dull in fact.

brimfull · 29/01/2011 10:57

saw this yesterday-tis lovely

IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 29/01/2011 10:59

Hi I need tops to go with skinny jeans too. And probably new jeans too. Any ideas?

Can I join?

Cyb · 29/01/2011 11:05

Yes Show, they are dull Grin

but I appreciate the effort
