Hells I'm so sorry, huge hugs to you, you poor thing. That unexpected bolt of grief feeling is truly awful. I hope you come back into our collective embrace soon, in the meantime, I'll be thinking about you x

Oh yes I had to smile the other day as the DHl man told me all about the demise of his first marriage (in his words - he's currently "looking for number 3" Biscuit) Apparently he had 'drive' and 'vision' and all she wanted to do was sit around drinking coffee and shopping. I'm thinking "well now you drive for a living, and I presume you have decent vision to hold a licence, and you spend your time delivering to women who love to shop! (and in my case drink coffee!)" Is that ironic?? Or possibly a bit tragic Grin

Ahem, Vin, I have that very dress! Less of the vom please! I love it, but is VERY yellow, the colour of egg-yolk. Is good on sallow-toned old me, but maybe less so on a winter.

Ooh plum is that the one you wore out with the school mums and a slash of red Lippy and they all rhapsodised about how ace you looked? Did you buy it at urban outfitters?

LTEC Bet your dossier is in large binder marked by post its Grin

blossoming · 18/01/2011 21:23

dolcee, I do wish you'd post a photo! Which celeb do you look like?
vin, whatever yellow it is, and for a good cause, you could wear a scarf in a winter colour closer to your face.

PlumSykes · 18/01/2011 21:25

Vin, might this be good for you? Asos have a few yellow frocks.

mrsjuan · 18/01/2011 21:30

Hells - so sorry to hear your sad news - take your time and come back when you're ready. I'm glad you managed to be with her though - that must have meant a lot to her. Sad

Ny - you look amazing in that dress - absolute knock out! Your comment the other day about your body 'not wobbling' has resonated with me - this is my new aim Grin

Think I may have to join cake in operation lark tomorrow as I have vastly underestimated how long some work is going to take me. Bugger.

loobylu3 · 18/01/2011 21:42

NY- the shape of the dress looks lovely on you- can't see the colour!
I also love the pic of you and your DD in stripes!

cake- lovely gold skirt and super wise to have waited until the sale! Remember bonsoir linking to it and thinking it was lovely but would make my hips look to large!

Redliquorice · 18/01/2011 22:18

For all the Owl and Alex Monroe fans, potential W&A birthday present??

owl necklace

ReineDeSaba · 18/01/2011 22:22
