They've slightly wider around the calves than I hoped, but they are nice boots and a total bargain. Just got to sneak them past DH!!!

The mittfords I got in a 9 are massive sadly - but then I'm not that keen on them anyway, I like a proper chunky workboot that I can knacker a bit as I do a lot of carpentry and building stuff.

I think I will stick to mens boots!

If anyone wants a 9/42, let me know, I'm normally a 41 or 42 so was being cautious but they're just too big.

I'll be returning them in the next couple of days so be quick!

Well having managed to abstain from spending since this thread started, I've caved in and ordered these - what a bargain! And they're a classic that'll last for years aren't they, so really it's not spending, it's investing

My Mitfords arrived this morning. They do come up big. The sole is very thin and DH said they looked "cheap". When I told him how much they were, and how much I paid, he loved them.

Not sure if I'll keep them actually, although I did need some pull-ons.

Why do they wait so bloody long to tell you they don't have any in stock?

I have got the Mittfords in an 8. I am not keen on them as they look rather thin and dull and cheap (mind you they were cheap). They looked a lot funkier in the photo.

I also got the galax in the grey. They look nice but they are very unstructured and slop around my foot as I walk and I know I would hate wearing them (sigh).

I wonder if I send thm both back, will they refud the delivery charge?

It's mad isn't it TH! Not as bad as M&S customer service, though. (is anything?)

I have four pairs of silly heels sitting winking at me, begging them not to send me back. they are so comfortable.

It's going to be a painful decision. But the mittfords are deffo going back - the sixe confusion on the emails was to do with American sizing I think, mine are labelled an 11 on the box. (!)

Btw this is embarrassing but I can't understand how to return them free. Do we have to download a label or something?

I got my Mittfords through today- I think they look lovely actually, but they are too narrow for my hobbit feet, even though I ordered a bigger size (5)

So, does anybody want them? If you need a size 5 and they are out of stock, I haven't returned them yet, and would post them to you if you can pay the postage + £35?

I don't really shop in M&S but i have seen a few threads on how bad it is! I think myself lucky I don't shop there

You can take them back to a Kurt Geiger store if you have one...we don't, only concessions I think and concessions can't accept returns from the internet shop.

Can you get someone else to print out a label? Your mum? Sister?

The sole is rather thin, but the shape is fab and they fit very nicely.

BoF, I also have square wide feet but mine fitted well? I checked the size inside the boot and it was 9W - W for Wide, perhaps?

I was going to say, if anyone wants The Mitfords in a 7 I'll send them to them for £35 too.

So, my Strasbourgs have arrived....I've got quite narrow feet but these are made for people with narrow feet like mice! Bye bye Strasbourgs, alas, we were not meant to be.

Jelly- I would say that they aren't big tbh. I am usually a four, but thought a five would do, as my feet are quite wide. They felt like the right size for me, but too tight across the top.

My sizing came out right - I am a 41 and they are a 41.

Hmm, doesn't sound like they'd be right for me then. Looks like I'll have to make do with the three pairs I did order then!
