Unrequited - I did get a despatch email with a tracking order on Friday. They were delivered today, just now.

Were your boots wrapped up like an Ebay parcel? Mine were in the box in an inside-out House of Fraser bag wrapped up with parcel tape! Thought KG would have had slightly more impressive wrapping.

I have not had a despatch email, just a confirmation one. Still not got any boots either

I have just got one pair (fab quality, so nice) despite ordering several, they arrived on their own in a posh box in a DPD bag.

I wonder why yours were in a HoF bag!!

I must admit I was a bit when I got the parcel!!

It says mine are coming direct from the store.

Mine were coming from the store too bellavita. It doesn't really matter, it just looked a bit shabby!

But would they have come like that if they were full price? , you would really expect better service as the boots are still expensive even though they are reduced.

Well as they were discounted so much I don't mind and the boots are really nice. Would never have paid anywhere near the full price for them though! (But would have expected fancy wrapping if I had!)

I don't mean they were expensive on the reduced level, but they still need care and attention on the packaging - oh bugger, I know what I mean - just cannot get my words formed properly

A pair of French Connection knee length boots that I had stroked in the French Connection shop a while ago. They were £160 and I got them for £42.99 with delivery.

I've just had these delivered.

They are exquisite but oh so high !! Still waiting on 2 more pairs.

They came in a white parcel box with shoes in shoe box inside.

The parcel force tracker didn't work for me either

Yes they are nice, I have just gone out of work to have a little walk in them, I'm not used to high shoes but think I can get used to them, definitely more comfortable than a lot of shoes. :)

I know what you mean bellavita - they are what I would think of as a high end shop so you would have thought they would have nice packaging, even if something is heavily reduced. Mind you, it seems that their packaging is usually ok and I just got unlucky. I love the boots you have ordered btw!

Dexter - how is the sizing on the Mittfords? Looking forward to mine arriving but had to order a 7 as no 6s left. [hopeful they come up small emoticon]

I think they run a tiny bit large I'm afraid. I ordered an 8 (41) and it fits well with a slightly thicker sock, but a 7 would have been too small.

Oh bugger. I ordered some American Vintage barstools earlier today. And now I have seen those French Connection rogans and I want those TOO.

I've just had 2 emails from KG, the first saying my size 6 Mittfords have been dispatched - great, the second saying that my size 9 Mittfords have been dispatched, eh?? I definately only made 1 order, its too late to phone them now, so I guess I may have a spare pair of size 9s on its way to me. If anyone here wants them I'm happy to pass them on, otherwise they'll be back to KG.

I ordered size 8 Mittfords, but if they don't fit I might be interested in some 9s?

Drat! Oh well, will wait and see. Am usually a 6.5 / 40 these days so may be ok. If they don't fit will see if anyone on this thread wants em.
