Love the COH jeans Esher. Very, very nice.

OooohWhatIfItHurts · 10/01/2011 23:19

looby I think the Toast funnel neck in cream moleskin would be my favourite.

I find the Toast cut weird generally; I've just sent back this leather jacket and this jumper. The cut of both of them was just off. The leather on the jacket was incredibly soft though, to the point that it had almost persuaded me to keep it, until DH said (trying to agree I think!!) that it felt almost human (ugh!). Back it went and the knit was basically a crop top.

By contrast, other things vie tried from there in the past have been tents. Literally.

Have compensated with a few NAP "further reduced" items including these beauties. There are some bargains to be had.

If anybody wants some dark black stretch skinny jeans from Gap in a Gap size 4 (but I reckon would fit UK size 10 or 10-12) then PM me. They don't fit me and I can't be arsed to ebay. Bought them in October 2010 I think.

hells those are pretty standard Joseph trousers I reckon - i have had 2 pairs of Joseph trousers before (both ravaged by moths) one very similar cut. I like but strictly conservative workwear IMO.

Missonis are nice for summer but look very tight in bum even on that skinny model - I do love that length personally but wonder if they are a bit tight to be uber wearable as they sort of cross line between casual and smart.

Love the COH jeans.

Poor little DD1 had traumatic afternoon - she was put in an afterschool art club with kids from Y2 and up (she is Y1 and normally does a different one) and they were unfriendly and mean (laughed at her etc). Poor little mite, she kept such a brave face until I picked her up and asked how it was then she crumpled (not before giving me what she had made though!)

Anyway I stormed into office and now all sorted out but its heart wrenching such a big bad world out there. But her self control and inner poise just blows me away - she will not lose it in front of anyone else, keeps her cool even when inside she is cut up! so proud of her...

Evening ladies, forgive me for not looking at links but will catch up tomorrow

Just wanted to say happy birthday La Hells and Le Vin- big smoochy cuddles and kisses for le petits.

Back from birthday tapas, good fun. Wore goldsign magics, reiss lurex sweater and dune studded booties. Ouch. Definitely a dinner shoe. The pub aftermath and walk to car damn near killed me Grin

Good night!

AllBuggiedOut · 11/01/2011 00:55

Is anybody else trying to order from the Hush sale? Great reductions but site a nightmare!

AllBuggiedOut · 11/01/2011 01:13

Hurrah! Cardigown reduced from £75 to £35 and finally ordered. On the subject of which, have we ever discussed lounge wear?! What do you ladies wear once the kids are in bed and you and your OH are doing whatever you do on an evening in - in our case, usually snuggling up in front of the TV Blush? I have a vast collection of pyjamas with which I will now wear my cardigown. And for when it's chilly, a Designers Guild blanket to cuddle under.

Romanholiday · 11/01/2011 05:51

Good morning everyone! I'm on my way to London looking completely ace (if I say so myself) in sportmax skirt suit, nude heels, Alberta ferretti cream wool coat.

You brought a tear to my eye macmama with that tale. I read somewhere that you shouldn't have children until you are prepared to watch your heart walking around outside your body. And good for you going straight in in defence - lion mama!

Love the accidental meetups. Why is it always cake?!

I haven't bought anything this year. Have decided money poss better spent on ryanair and thalys tickets.

FritziGreenEyes · 11/01/2011 05:58

Morning roman, your outfit sounds really fabulous. I'm sure you are a sparkle in a sea of grey this morning!

Zembo good to have you back and to hear you had a much deserved lovely time with your family.

oooh crop top! Shock Also, tasty boots,in fact so good I bought some Blush Have managed to eat up monthly budget all too easily..

tracey definitely scarf..cost per wear very low on an item like that and it's divine.

vin the guy who owns the Ruby bars is married to a very close friend of my Dhhave been to the former but Dh says marylebone one lovely.

mac poor dd1 Sad and you! sometimes I find I get even more upset by incidents like that than DD1(behind closed doors of course)..children are suprisingly resilient but I have definitely become thinner skinned since babies.

esher my Dh does not like the COH look either..definitely one for the other ladies to love but I intend to get my high street oldies out and wear them with pride.
