ok so Ive been using Coco channel forever and went into boots tonight to choose another perfume but couldn't decide!!

I used to love Ralf Lauren Safari but now its discontinued.

I like quite heavy and strong perfumes - tell me what I should buy please!

Agent Provocateur. Very difficult to describe but a perfume that is always commented on and always lingers. When a friend of mine comes for dinner with it on its still there in the morning! And she tells me she can smell it on herself, something I find rare in a perfume. I might have a single white female moment and buy some myself!

Flower bomb by Victor & Ralph. Really lovely, quite musky and not overpowering but really lingers. Its about £50 so not cheap, but the nice one's never are!

I think Agent Provocateur smells like old lady talc - sorry!

I use either Sensuous by Estee Lauder (quite strong) or for day to day work perfume wear Pomegranite Noir by Jo Malone. I used to wear Dolce Vita by Dior, that was very very nice and quite strong.

Get some testers and use one each day until you find one that you like after wearing for a day.

Yes Madame C it does smell of talc but for some strange reason I am always drawn to this fragrance. Another talcish perfume that I love is Lancome Poeme. Think it might be discontinued. And also Obsession Night.

I love coco chanel but have run out...

Other faves are jean paul gautier (lasts for ages) eternity and angel

also dior various poison perfumes, especially the red one....

I like Gaultier, Chance (from Chanel) and Jo Malone's sweet lime and cedar. I would bathe in the latter if I could.
