After years of consideration i have decided to go for it.I have v good skin apart from forehead which are caused by constant squinting over the years when i don't wear my glasses.Botox doc I met at friends said i was ideal candidate as if your face is just wrinkly everywhere it prob needs something more like fillers but mine is just one area and caused be repetitive movement. What i really want to know is does it hurt and any disasters anyone?

I've not had anything else done..... yet. I'd like some fillers and would definitely go back to LPSA even though it's not cheap.
Both surgeons were so highly respected in their field they were my 1st/2nd choice and also had personal recommendations from people.

24 units! Dare I ask how much you paid Noddy? I should think they would do it free of charge as they can treat another three patients out of your vial!!

noddyholder · 07/12/2010 13:58

I asked for very conservative!he said I can have the same again.Lovely doctor and v impressed with it it was £199.

TrappedinSuburbia · 07/12/2010 23:35

The heaviness will go, it does take about 3 days (in my experience) to see ANYTHING start to happen, but after this its more every day and by day 7 you've usually got the most.
Do post the pics, dying for a look Xmas Grin

noddyholder · 08/12/2010 09:28

I can see some change now but am worried about my eyelids drooping as they feel heavy but look fine atm.He has said he can give me more outer brow lift next time if I think I like the effect.Think the lift is what i want aswell as the lines being reduced. The glabella has already virtually disappeared Will post pic when I get it!

DukesOfTripHazard · 09/12/2010 13:03

What's the latest Noddy?

traceybath · 09/12/2010 14:03

Oh I am so getting this done in the new year - anyone know any good Drs around Bath/Bristol area please?

noddyholder · 09/12/2010 14:14

Well it is defintiely kicking in now.Forehead much smoother and eyebrows slightly lifted although one more than the other but will get that sorted at follow up.I do feel odd though the sensation of not moving my brow makes me feel sleepy iygwim. It defintiely works and my skin looks younger but not sure I like it!

OP posts:
traceybath · 09/12/2010 14:15

Oh no really?

DukesOfTripHazard · 09/12/2010 14:19

Interesting.

Do you look like this? Hmm

Grin
ABudafulSightWereHappyTonight · 09/12/2010 14:21

Fascinating thread!

I have 2 horizontal lines on my forehead and they are all I see atm. I also have a scar above one eyebrow that I wondered about doing something with. Am tempted!

noddyholder · 09/12/2010 14:21

{grin].I am not unhappy with it at all just not sure its for me.I have realised that I am not as bothered about ageing as i thought I have younger looking face but so what?I am glad in a way i have done it.The one thing I noticed today is make up goes on so much smoother and looks better.I think i don't like the sensation of a heavy brow but do like the result

IWouldNotCouldNotWithAGoat · 09/12/2010 15:00

I want botox on my forehead. I just want to look fresher and less crone-like, not necessarily younger.

moragbellingham · 09/12/2010 15:31

My eyebrows weren't affected at all (but am now tempted to look back through some old photos!)
At £350 I wasn't so keen on repeating the procedure and realised, too, that I wasn't that bothered by the lines.
