Looked around children's dept in Zara for the first time last week and really loved the style, quite nice and traditional. Thought they were quite pricey (but am in Canada and everything is expensive!) but just wondered if people thought they were good quality and VFM?

I’ve bought stuff for my DGDs from baby up to 4 yrs and it has always worn very well. The sales are really good but full price I think it’s a bit on the pricey side. DGDs are average height but narrow build and Zara seems to fit them well. They have some really fun tee shirts and sweatshirts that are age appropriate and some stylish sweatpants and trousers for girls. I wish I could afford to buy more from there as I always see things I like and that DD and DGDs would too.

My dds are 18 and 16, so I haven't bought for them from there for years, but it used to be my go to shop for basics, like plain tops and leggings, plus the knitwear was lovely. I had a gorgeous blue wool dress for dd1 when she was about a year old, and I still remember it because it was so beautiful and well made. Feels like it was 5 minutes ago though.

I loved Zara for DS when small (now 20). Sizes were about right for a slender quite tall boy, but they closed the local store and I lost touch with the brand. But he still likes some of the small menswear bought online.
