Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

Oh PM me please Marsha! I've yet to receive one (saddo) - not sure why I have 2 envelopes showing at the top of the screen tho - both are for inbox!

blossoming · 11/11/2010 14:53

Thanks tracey. You can come round here and do me a smokey eye if you want!

ollie. I love the shape of that dress. Are they your colours? Go for it! I just hate it when I have to indulge other people when I'm shopping!

Wearing stripe Janice over black falkes and black l/s av tee. Black belstaffs (would have liked to wear edelmans but ain't nothin gunna slow me down this arvo.. Grin. Camel coat. Pic of tamara Mellon in bag, hair appt at 7... Omg, the thought of having my hair lovingly washed at the precise moment that dh is doing 'Just one more story' is really too decadent for words. Am going to eat sashimi and stay out til the shops shut. Smile

bunny you take it easy, please! carciofi hope hospital goes well

OllieWollieWoo · 11/11/2010 15:06

Ta Marsha! Shock is my response!
LTEC - outfit sounds lovely, am excited for you re hair and shopping!

traceybath · 11/11/2010 15:10

LTEC there is something just fab about missing the bedtime routine in my opinion Grin Happens so infrequently it is a real treat.

DH not back till 8'ish tonight so I will undoubtedly get ready at the same time as putting children to bed which is always so much fun Wink

Right - snazaroo is the name in face-paints it seems. Think we'll offer a limited few designs - what do you think would be popular with small children - am thinking butterfly and ummm . . . .

LetThemEatCake · 11/11/2010 15:22

vin sounds like you need some essential oils. Evening primrose, mackerel, avocado, you take care!!!

Tracey have fun tonight

bloss great idea!!

Going underground more later

hellsbelles · 11/11/2010 15:41

LTEC - have fun! Please can we see the haircut...I'm sure you will look insanely gorgeous.

LTEC - snazeroo are brilliant. I got them for DS's elaborate halloween make up - and even I managed to make a fairly good job of it. Plus very gentle.

VINO - sounds like you need some vitamins young lady...bleeding sore lips not good (though eve lom and by-terry do some totally luscious lip balms Wink)

hellsbelles · 11/11/2010 15:42

AIBU to have booked a taxi for the school run...that's very naughty isn't it?! I just don't think I can face 30 min walk there and back (so 1 hr) in torrential rain. And DD has a particular hatred of having her pushchair raincover on - she goes ballistic!

FritziGreenEyes · 11/11/2010 15:44

cake Fab outfit. Have fun!

hells and marsha Thanks for updating me!

tracey DD is four. She and her pals love face painted as: butterfly, fairy (lots of pink and glitter), witch (cobweb on one cheek, spider on the other + green glitter paint from nose tip to forehead), tiger/cat. Spiderman could be easy too (red base with black cobweb and maybe white around the eyes). Can you tell I love face painting?

vin Have the flaking eyelid thing too occasionally. But no remedy so far, except some light cortisone cream so I can leave the house.

hellsbelles · 11/11/2010 15:48

opps snazeroo agreement meant for Tracey not cake!

vinvinoveritas · 11/11/2010 15:49

haha thanks for tips. I have been eating avocado virtually every day for months (oink) maybe there's a reason for my cravings!

tracey- who is lurking ? I think nobody could be lurking unless they were a. likeminded or b. severely judgeypantsish with nothing better to do. Nobody who wasn't avid would cope with reading this thread Grin

anyway, of course shoes come before food- duh*

*joke

vinvinoveritas · 11/11/2010 15:52

the eyelids just flared up after I wore nars eyeshadow- but I never had a reaction to it before.. ho hum

Right, courier booked, time to online shop look after DS! Wink

ltec outfit sounds fab, enjoy your evening

oh thanks yangy,,I used to do wheatgrass shots in my old stomping ground but a little hard to come by here- I guess health food places would have it. I haven't taken vitamins since I was pregnant- maybe should find some

Of course, the best solution would be to run off to 5* resort in Indian Ocean (with some tall handsome stranger) and have a break! No holiday since DD was little so am seriously craving a break from London greyness

traceybath · 11/11/2010 15:59

Thanks ladies - all really helpful suggestions Smile

Right off to get DS1 from football.

I think tracey probably means there is a lurker who posted on the mumsy thread -
PS - those avid and wise ladies. Where on earth do they get the money?
Hmm

vinvinoveritas · 11/11/2010 16:32

thanks yangy, that sounds SO healthy I am actually in awe!

You do feel an awful lot better though I guess when super-healthy. I've been eating rubbish recently, really must improve. Also having too much caffeine!

In fact I don't think I eat breakfast, I'm always fizzing around in the shower and sorting DS out. A smoothie would be perfect!

vinvinoveritas · 11/11/2010 16:35

Ah thanks for clarification dexter... hmm, well, we advocate primark and H&M on a regular basis though so I think that's pretty judgey Grin
