Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

Roma- I was measured for the first time in ages recently. I am your bra twin. 32a....but apparently I may need a 32 B in some brands. Can't believe I had been wearing a 36. The lady sniggered at me!

traceybath · 12/11/2010 21:50

EIE - are you going to be down Bath way anytime soon>

HF - that looks nice.

We're going to Lucknam for DH's xmas party and the Donna will be worn. Am also going to wear her for mum's xmas night out which is probably too ott but hey never knowingly underdressed . . .

notyummy · 12/11/2010 21:50

Yes. Plum. I too love the dress!

Romanarama · 12/11/2010 21:51

My youngest dc is 4 3/4 and my boobs are just starting to look less flat. I had horrible stretched droopy nipples for years, but they've more or less gone back to normal now. They did look awful, and were AAA if that, but now they're about an A, and a reasonable shape, so I decided didn't merit all the risks and expense of surgery.

traceybath · 12/11/2010 21:51

Roma - I live near Bath - the clue is in the name Wink But don't want to spend to much time travelling.

Of course DH's main birthday treat is going mountain biking for a week with his bike mates.

notyummy · 12/11/2010 21:52

Looby- 30 Day Shred DVD from Jillian Michaels. Fairly hard core circuit training but only 20 mins!

Romanarama · 12/11/2010 21:54

ny this is the bra that fits in 32B. It's one of those very handy, doesn't show ones. I'm pleased with it. Gift20 still works for 20% I think.

hf128219 · 12/11/2010 21:54

Tracey Barnsley House?

I don't think I can make meet up - dh going away next Thursday for nearly a month and it will be all go.

notyummy · 12/11/2010 21:55

I have always been small of chest. Couldn't believe I had a cleavage when bf- was sad to see it go. O think they are still a good shape whilst small- probably pressups have helped! My recent lingerie shops Inc a couple of really natural looking gel bras which help balance my figure and help fight against the pear!

loobylu3 · 12/11/2010 21:56

Thank NY- the 20 minutes bit sounds good! Can you do it at home in a smallish living room?
Really must do some exercise but hardly get any time to myself to get out to the gym!

traceybath · 12/11/2010 21:56

Was thinking of Barnsley House - have you been?

And is the GR tv gossip true?

notyummy · 12/11/2010 21:57

Thanks for the link Roma!

loobylu3 · 12/11/2010 21:57

Forgor to say, MrsJ- I have a few sizes of the Boden skiiny belt in the leopard which I haven't returned yet. What size are you after? Your other option is calling customer services and asking them to send you the correct size if they get returns- they are v helpful!

vinvinoveritas · 12/11/2010 21:58

ROma that's interesting, I have been feeling somewhat miserable about my boobs- they've shrunk hugely as just stopped BFing, none of my bras fit not even pre-DC bras was clinging onto a hope they might sort themselves out in time!

Looby- you don't need much room. Enough to do star jumps and jump from side to side basically. A good sports bra and trainers are needed though! You also need hand weights.

traceybath · 12/11/2010 21:59

EIE I'm around so if you fancy a christmas eve drink let me know Smile

MrsJ - I also have the small boden leopard belt - let me know if you want it and i'll send it to you rather than return it.

I have worn mine so much already.

loobylu3 · 12/11/2010 22:02

That sounds good NY and EIE- I could do with a bit of definition. Will try to find DVD online. It shall be my pre New Yr resolution! :)

eshermummy · 12/11/2010 22:02

right, have speed-read something like 15 pages of thread and have vaguely got gist of where we are at.....

Was out last night, school christmas shopping evening and then on to dinner. Massively overdressed (natch) and had some quite sniffy/snotty looks as result but hey-ho, like I give a XXXX.
Wore grey tweed short shorts (H&M), merino opaques, ash wedge ankle boots (like Fritzi's), actually found a silk chiffon round neck blouse with tiny gold buttons down back (last year's monsoon sale) which I'd never worn so wore that with cream lacy edged camisole under and grey short buttonless cardigan with gold chain edging and pockets (H&M). Topped off with huge gold multi-strand necklace (as worn on meet-up). sound s a bit of a dog's breakfast but actually very chic and ladylike (well, maybe not the shorts Grin).

House works coming along but please could it stop raining? We are now two weeks behind and have had 4 leaks into the bedrooms upstairs.........aaaaagh

Bloss - I had same idea as you and WIT re belting coats. Actually I had my idea pre-WIT so ner ner ne ner ne WIT-lady
this and this arrived today and I am keeping both. Mine are to replace a very annoyingly crap belt on my new pale khaki coloured padded puffa/trench hybrid (can't link, bought in Spain).
Only thing is I ordered my usual S but forgot about the bulk of the coat (doh) so may need to exchange for a M so think about sizing up.

God there was so much stuff I wanted to comment on and now I can't remember, oh yes

thanks to all of you who suggested lk bennett for my cream cowl blouse - it looks perfect

Cake - I had my eye on that sleeveless leopard blouse ages ago but it sold out in an S - I see it is back in Smile. I wanted to do a whole D&G glamourous young Italian widow thing in it Blush and now I can, yaaaay!

MM - still have not made it to Uniqlo - although I see someone said it is free p&P at moment.....but am trying to cut down on post office visits at moment....

Am off to look at the mumsy thread and find these naysayers Hmm

Tracey - thank you for missing me and thank you for your PM - had coffee with (wise) friend and mother of 3 (older) dc today and think have got knickers in twist over dd1 perhaps unnecessarily. Am taking chill pill re school stuff.

Just feel like not enough hours in day at present to juggle dc, house, shopping, school, looking after self etc. Have huge ASOS box waiting upstairs and not even tried anything on yet as just too cream crackered from the day!

Am a bit peeved with DH as due to his eye rolling at H&M last week I failed to buy the ribbon tie statement necklace which I then posted about on here (I think it was me that first mentioned it no?) so I'm the only person who doesn't have one yet . If they have sold out by the time I get there I am going to be so Angry!!!

blossoming · 12/11/2010 22:05

looby, it's changed my life. Incredible. I am evangelical about that woman. As is my dh Wink.

Tracey Not been but friends had a good time. La plus belle travesti au Brésil?

Romanarama · 12/11/2010 22:07

Hi Esher, I also have H&M grey tweed shorts, but have difficulty with footwear with them. I feel a bit OTT with shorts and heels.

traceybath · 12/11/2010 22:09

Esher - it is always good I find to talk to mothers of older children Smile DS1 has come on amazingly this year (yr 2)but its taken a while . . .

Do you want me to pick you up one of those necklaces tomorrow if they're in stock?

notyummy · 12/11/2010 22:10

Great to hear from you Esher but sorry to hear snout the leaks.

loobylu3 · 12/11/2010 22:12

bloss- this shredding is sounding better my the minute-I could impress myself and DH too!
I'm wearing a pair of black leggings this evening for comfort and DH commented that I have a big bottom! Don't be offended on my behalf because I'm not at all bothered and he did complement me on the outfit I was wearing at work just before I changed!
