Sorry to hear about your dd dolcee. Hope things improve soon.
Glad to hear your family were better behaved this time ollie.

I wonder what an avid and wise Christmas party would be like. Where would we have it? What would you wear? (Complete fantasy obviously!)

yangy, I am very cosy in my zebra stripe jumper dress, black leggings and black sheepskins. With Chanel rouge coco ballet russe for contrast!

Off to find stripey Janice! Wearing grey skinnies, boden belt, grey breton, boots and a mac.

pickledsiblings · 12/11/2010 10:56

Yangy I thought about those grey leopard wedge boots but decided against them as they are definitely a one season wonder. I like my boots to trascend seasons, years even - I get sooo attached to them.

yes, but won't you miss them when they're gone?

bunnymother · 12/11/2010 11:04

Bloss - I also really want to hear how green Diana looks - she looks divine in the picture. I just love that glamorous look . Imagine it will look terrific. Just keep exercising so you can out run your DH as he chases you around the house. Or not out run him Smile

"Where do they get their money from"? Here's my very first Biscuit. Or should I 'fess up to being a benefits scrounger who has Sky TV and 13 children all paid for by hard working tax payers Wink Grin Oooh, that's going to get me kicked off Mumsnet for sure! But truly, that comment is just the thin edge of the wedge of judginess that is many people in general.

Side still hurting - is a bloody pain (ha ha). Didn't help that got stuck on my back in the night, kicking and struggling like an upturned turtle, trying to get out of bed to get DD a bottle. Enjoying that mental image?? Smile

Sounds like some wonderful nights out - Hells, Cake (can't wait to see the Mellon head! She is stunning, albeit not exactly natural), Tracey.

And how fun that so many of us have Janice - if P8 is a listed company, I bet get buying 0 their stock is going up!

traceybath · 12/11/2010 11:04

Have just made cherry cake to use up cherries bought for making christmas cake - how wise I am Wink.

Ooooh yangy - am dragging DS1 shopping tomorrow morning to get shoebox stuff for school and to quickly look in gap at those.

Bloss - I too am waiting for the results of your phase 8 order. I think the stripey jancie looks fab but that length sleeve just doesn't seem to work on me - wish they did a long sleeved version.

20% off at Phase Eight!

dexter73 · 12/11/2010 11:16

Have ordered this.

ApuskiDusky · 12/11/2010 11:25

Stripey Janice lovely, but washes me out, navy don't love so much, looks longer somehow. No feathers dress in my size.

Bought dress from esprit, will link later!

pickledsiblings · 12/11/2010 11:30

Oh Tracey, I got excited then as I thought you meant fresh cherries. I really want to bake cherry clafoutis a la HFW for my book group ladies but sadly they are not in season.

Wish I'd had the HFW book a few months ago when the cherries were littering the ground. It's my Christmas present from DH, we've exchanged gifts already Blush.

Cake, please can I see a pic of new 'do as I need some inspiration?

traceybath · 12/11/2010 11:39

Ooooh LTEC you need this to style your mellon hair.

Pickled - no glace cherries had been taunting me from the cupboard so had to use them up Grin

I love fresh cherries though.

2 more houses to view tomorrow but suspect the second will be horrid but agent was so keen I didn't like to say no.

OllieWollieWoo · 12/11/2010 11:47

Apuski - mwah! You just reminded me - tried a woollen dress on in Esprit at the airport which was a nice style but grey colour was a bit so so. Meant to check website to see if they had it in navy, forgot, saw your mention of Esprit and just checked and they do! Website is a complete pain to link to but its the second dress shown in the woollen dress section - a cross between a polo neck and a cowl neck style! Will wear with think tan belt and new boots. Glad you got something for your night out.

FritziGreenEyes · 12/11/2010 12:00

Love the fact that so many here have Janice. Let's see if bloss's green Diana will become popular too.

I'm on phone on my way to work conference. Went for a blowdry this morning before I got on the train and feel so much better. No Mellonhead but definitely sleek and swishy.

Ollie sorry to hear about your row with DH. Sounds all very familiar. Sounds like you had a stressful time with your aunt's funeral and everything. Any chance to get some rest during the weekend?

Tracey cherry cake sounds yummy. Would love a slice right now.

DTI10 · 12/11/2010 12:02

20% off all Phase Eight AW10 collection. Not sure if online, just got the email.

FritziGreenEyes · 12/11/2010 12:07

Ollie is it the esprit dress with ruched sleeves?

Yes Fritzi - navy blue, 3/4 length sleeves tho model wearing them scruched up! Also comes in grey. V plain, v me! Quite like the silky fine knit one next to it in grey as well - an alternative to the Gap one possibly?
Glad you liked your sleek and swishy blowdry! We have a quiet WE planned - boys are excited as Sinterklaas arrives on the boat from Spain tomorrow morning so now we have 3 weeks of Sinterklaas parties, leaving shoes by the fireplace every few days to be filled with small presents/sweets before the big celebration on 5th December. Boys are already beside themselves!

Romanarama · 12/11/2010 12:37

I can't keep up, but feel the need to pop in and tell you all that I bought a Jil Sander black jacket on Outnet this morning at 85% discount Ta da!! Hope all are well.

ApuskiDusky · 12/11/2010 12:37

search for 'satin dress' and it's the first one

It's a little closer fitting on me, and somehow the colour works. And I got a tenner off. I also bought some Falke tights.
