tethersend · 05/11/2010 22:03

Also keen on this but may be too bulky for you.

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:03

Which one G.
That Zara number is nice actually.

To keep warm I would actually ptrefer a duvet with holes for head and legs but certain degree of vanity leads me to pursue something more aesthetically pleasing (says she sitting at home in her Ethel Austin pyjamas, dh's fleece and Crocs.

Honestly, if you saw me now you would shoot me on sight.

Fucking hell, no way Tether. It is the kind of thing a weird orderly would wear in an Austrian mountain sanatorium circa 1937.

OP posts:
tethersend · 05/11/2010 22:05

Crocs?

Nooooooooooooooooo

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:08

Only for the house when noone sees me apart from children and my young man.

I swear.

OP posts:
tethersend · 05/11/2010 22:08

Let us never speak of the sanitarium coat or the crocs again.

brimfull · 05/11/2010 22:09

too short?

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:10

That's nice too.

thatsnotmyGUNPOWDER · 05/11/2010 22:11

kristen tweed coat

erin funnel coat

thatsnotmyGUNPOWDER · 05/11/2010 22:12

NB you have to click through to coats and then look for the name on the whistles site.

brimfull · 05/11/2010 22:13

toast
I already know you'll hate it

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:14

Yes, Gunpowdre, the Whistles ones are nice.
I;'d draw the line at £500 ++ fpor a coat thoguh!

OP posts:
moondog · 05/11/2010 22:17

All Toast clothes are criminally frumpy but there is something in a certain type of woman's genetic makeup that draws her to shapeless garments in dull muddy colours which have all the alure of a burlap goat milking apron.

I know because I myself am drawn to them like a moth to a flame but fight the urge and steer myself to items that flatter the female figure rather more.

OP posts:
brimfull · 05/11/2010 22:18

hilarious pointless video with that link
makes the coat look even worse-if that's poss

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:20

LMFAO
I just knew it would involve a bare 'space' with distressed paintwork.

Gah, they all need a boot up the arse and hussling off to New Look where the peopel buying can at least enjoy themselves.

Miserable fuckers.

OP posts:
SingingTunelessly · 05/11/2010 22:22

Just catching up. NOT the Jaeger one - the blanket housecoat tied up like sack of spuds look. Sooo many coats to look at.

brimfull · 05/11/2010 22:23

how could I forget boden

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:23

I believe we have enjoyed reviewing two Jaeger garments.
This is the stongest contender to date.

OP posts:
brimfull · 05/11/2010 22:24

no this jaeger one

moondog · 05/11/2010 22:25

I've gone off Boden.Their stuff doesn't seem as well made as it used to and it veers into mumsy.
